This ll be one of the great interviews of Ilayaraja... The anchors have done a good job here..

He can literally play with our emotions with his songs. Try building a playlist with different emotions. You will laugh, agitate, cry along with his songs. Pure magical.

I literally kissed raja sir on mobile, when he replied to the question "Define ilayaraja". When he accepts what he is, he becomes a child. Who wouldn't love a child? What would i do if my daughter says " I couldn't help, i did it"? I felt the same way when he answered the question. You are like the rain, a natural element. Whenever i want to, i can get drenched and so are many others. You are the first person whom i addressed Sir, so righteous to call you as Sir.

Noble prize There a host setsup a roundtable conversation arrangement, where noble prize winners of various subjects discuss random things in a relaxed manner. Those personalities talk in a whole different level. Ilayaraja sir is such personality type, a typical in a nobel winner type. We all know that Sri Ilayaraja's music is beautiful. Now we see that his smile is just as beautiful. Sir, can we please see more of this side of you during interviews? This interview is fascinating in many ways. First, the exquisite detail and the effortless ease with which he describes the song-making process. Second, the open acknowledgement that he may be making others uncomfortable, but more importantly, the courage to admit that he is unable to control that. Third, how awesome it is to see him in such a pleasant frame of mind. Kudos to the interviewers for the kind of questions that brought out the beauty in the person of the Maestro! 👏👏👏

Ilayaraja sir's answers shows how genuine he is. As he said the way he behaves might be his nature. Also I should mention that both the interviewers are very humble and polite in the way they asked the questions. May be thats why Ilayaraja sir looks more comfortable in this interview. Congrats team.

Ilayaraajaa is a multi talented multilingual master. If his music is towering his knowledge in various languages and poetry/ literature is very good. A rare breed indeed. Long live Raja.

8:31 to 9:10 is the best part! Brilliant explanation by the Maestro about himself! The whole interview is good. Short and sweet.

THE BEST in this series so far! You got some NEWS out of him. OMG! IR composed Mani Ratnam's "Unaru" for FREE? I knew he composed "Pallavi Anupallavi" (Kannada) for 1/5th of his usual salary. Such a GENUINE person who does NOT sugar-coat his words or manipulates them to get applause from the audience. Hats off, MAESTRO.

This is the best interview of Raja sir. So candid, true to his heart. He seemed to be very arrogant in all the interactions I have seen before but inside his tough outer shell there is a sweet human being which is exhibited in this interview. Very nice interview.
