Ciao Frank, Ilvolo è in realtà conosciutissimo, in patria e soprattutto all'estero. Questi tre talentuosi ragazzi hanno festeggiato l'anno scorso i dieci anni di carriera e sono ancora giovanissimi(1993,94,95). Gianluca Ginoble è il baritono, Ignazio Boschetto il tenore con vocazione pop, e Piero Barone il tenore lirico. Si sono conosciuti partecipando a un concorso televisivo canoro per ragazzi dove il regista ha deciso di metterli assieme decretando il loro successo. Subito dopo sono stati messi sotto contratto da un'etichetta americana e hanno iniziato i loro tour in tutto il mondo. In Italia hanno avuto qualche difficoltà in più, sono stati criticati per il loro genere musicale (popera) e per il tipo di vocalità. Hanno anche vinto un festival di Sanremo e sono arrivati terzi due anni dopo. Hanno comunque milioni di fans in tutto il mondo che spesso li seguono nelle tournée. They were 18yrs old in this performance, let that sink in :.) Il Volo and Dimash are the artists that most wowed me when first hearing them. I have Il Volo's concert DVDs at 16 and 18 yrs old (Il Volo takes Flight and We are Love), absolutely mind blowing. Also their later operatic concert DVD with Placido Domingo, just as good! 👍

Once again I have dove into an Il Volo rabbit hole and I stumbled upon this. I like how excited you were to see Jose Jose and and that you totally nailed it about Gianluca working his anime hair lol

Gianluca Ginoble is a lyric baritone. Piero Barone (glasses) is a spinto tenor. Ignazio Boschetto (tall) is a lyric tenor. You need to watch more of Il Volo. They are incredible. Grande Amore, Hasta El Final, Il Mondo, Que Sera de Te, Capolavoro. On and on. The very best. ❤❤

Jose Jose's father was an opera singer; his mother, a classical pianist. They're fantastic, but I, too, love the original version for its emotive qualities.

Oh by the way the higher notes were from Piero “glasses” according to the many interviews they have given Piero is dramatic tenor and Ignazio is a light tenor whatever that means 😂 and Gianluca is a baritone he always do the beginning of the songs but when they do the harmonies the higher notes are the responsibility if Ignazio because his voice is more clear, their voices are meant to be blended in such way that is difficult to distinguish who is doing what, no one over power anyone, that’s why they couldn’t go any higher in this particular song because they are not like that. How they say “3 voices 1 soul” that’s why they have their solo in the concerts you should check Where do I begin by Piero Barone !! Con todo respeto, es una porquería esta interpretación, esta melodía se disfruta más sin tantas armonías y está claro que quisieron hecharle mucha crema a sus tacos y terminaron cagándola por completo, no hay como la interpretación que nos regaló el príncipe de la canción allá por el año 70 en el festival OTI, esa si que es una excelente interpretación.
