This is true, however I do not describe one as good or one as bad, these descriptive words are only based on human perception, not natural, objective measurement. In truth, the world just is what it is. The only reason government is perceived more moral than organised crime is because it has the convenience to do so. The american government does not need to kill billy bob who robbed the gas station because there is no threat to power. In this case, he is sent to jail, which is perceived as "fair" by society. However, they will not make the same moral decision for an enemy general who threatens their country. I'm not saying that this shows hypocrisy, but it shows that morality is not the driving factor in decision making. Morality is a tool to keep already developed society together. In the case of the mafia, there every move is watched by what we call the government, but in truth is a warring society. They have no convenience to act "morally". In order to obtain their profits safely, there is no room for morality, as it will inevitably lead to demise. Organised crime is truly every man for himself, even within the largest of groups. There is no problem with nations warring with organised crime, but morality is not the driving factor, self preservation is. Organised crime represents an attack on the society of the nation. In truth, it is my team versus your team, not my morality versus your immorality.

The Godfather is one of my favorite movies that I have seen several times since 9/21/1972. Great acting by the cast, great movie soundtrack, the scenes filmed in Sicily great scenery. My favorite scenes are when Michael is walking in Sicily to Corleone, when him & Vito are having a talk before Vito plays in the garden with his grandson Anthony and when he is playing in the garden with his grandson Anthony just before Vito dies.

I agree with the godfather being the best film of all time and one of the best soundtracks, but best trilogy? It's not consistent enough. I think that would have to go to the Lord of the rings...

@@lampostsmeller1731 Well It's definitely one of the best. Godfather part 1 and part 2 are one of best movies ever made. Part 3 was decent(Not that good) but none were bad(Yes I know I'm late)

You are right pradeep . Same is with me.. It is my favourite Hollywood movie . Want to go Italy, specially Sicily, Palermo, in future. Italy is a good country nowadays affected with Corona virus. God bless.

non è strano che ascoltando questa musica mi prende una grande nostalgia, eppure io non faccio parte a quella famiglia , anzi al contrario, sarà per la mia origine siciliana. che mia fa pensare alla mia terra dalla quale manco da quasi cinquant'anni.

Pure io sono siciliana, trasferita da 8 anni in germania, anche se non sono lontana non ho la possibilità di andare giú molto Spesso... quindi ascolto questa splendida musica che mi fa venire le lacrime. Viva l'italia

maybe the movie wasnt good enough by itself so you needed to give it a boost by watching youtube at the same time(sacrilege)
