If you go for 1 week, you will extend to 2, the, 3, then 5, then a year and finaly you will never leave. If you don't trust me? Just give a try. This is what God gave Burundi and its people. Yes, he has two albums until now: the first is called UBUZIMA and was realised in 2005, and the 2nd is a new one " Il est Beau Mon Pays" 2008.If interessted, soon we will put some others on youtube. Thanks.

Il m'a fallu appeler l'ambassade à Ottawa aujourd'hui pour mon travail. J'ai visité le site web qui jouait cette chanson et j'ai adoré! Ç'a m'a inspirée d'en apprendre davantage sur ce beau pays parfois méconnu. Bravo!

It's called imuduri in kirundi, it's also used in DR Congo and Angola. The enslaved Africans from Angola and Congo brought their music (instruments) and culture to the Americas. Especially Brazil, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Cuba, Haiti, Colombia, Martinique, Suriname, Panama, Peru, Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Guadeloupe, Barbados and Saint Lucia have great African Presence.

Its the same instrument. From the mountains of the moon to Angola use this instrument. Exactly the same. Now Afro Brazilians took it with them to Brazil :)
