Carlos I miss you and you're music it's almost 1 year since you left us it was December 19 /2021 I will never forget 💔

Attending IL DIVO concerts have been some of the happiest times in my life. Carlos was such a personality and always made me smile. "The Spanish One" had such charm and that wonderful voice will never leave us, so talented. We are all sending our love and remembering him fondly today as we always will, especially when listening to the amazing music you have created together. Still so sad. Rest In Peace Carlos xxx

En ENERO era enterrado en Madrid( sus amigos no estaban) y en febrero empezaban la gira con Steven( amigo de David) no buscaron muccho .(..lo q a SIMON COWELL le costó 2 años buscando voces por 16 paises) ellos ya tenían un sustituto antes de morir CARLOS y en un.mes ya estaban cantanto por todo el mundo...QUE FACIL.😢😢😢

I know exactly how you feel. My Mum passed away 15 years ago and, ironically, it’s her birthday today. We had booked to see Il Divo well in advance of her untimely passing and it was a sad an ironic twist of fate that the concert was the night before her funeral. We had always said that Mama would be played at her funeral and so you can imagine the emotion when it was also played the night before….but live. I cant watch this video without crying and it’s the particular section where Carlos takes over that really sets me off. His ‘cry’ out was exactly how I felt when Mum went….and it’s so sad that I will never get to see him sing it live again. But we’ve always got this video to keep the memory alive.

Rose theater, Portland Oregon, February 14, 2004. My mom had tragically died in a medical mistake a couple months previously. My husband planned this trip across country to see IL DIVO with front row seats. Oh my gosh! Indescribable wonderful concert however, when IL DIVO began to sing this beautiful song, I kept my smile but a waterfall of tears began to fall as I struggled not to sob aloud …..I am sure the sight of me was frightening…😂. as the group individually quit looking at me as they continued their concert. The music and the voices were straight from Heaven. Quite a few years later we attended a meet and greet with IL Divo at the Rosemont theater in Chicago. Wonderful , gracious talented men. Received from them many great gifts that we will always treasure. Will always deeply appreciate and care about David, Carlos, Sebastian , and Urs…. We are so very sorry for the loss of Carlos…. keep singing guys….✝️💕

This song has so much meaning to me. I lost my Mum when I was barely 18 years old. Today marks the 10th Anniversary since she passed away. This song brings a massive tear to my eyes, as I remember the short time I had with her growing up, but also on all that has happened in the last 10 years that she has missed out on. I am praying that I will be reunited with her one day. i love you Mum!
