Bastianini sei unico a cantare in questa maniera!!! La tua voce è simile ad un Cielo terso , un Cielo azzurro ma l'azzurro più intenso di un arcobaleno che si sia mai visto!!! Io ti adoro Ettore!!!

I agree with Matthias Villwock, not one of his best rendition, however still interesting and "wellcome" for every fan and profound admirer of this extraordinary artista ....who, sadly, seems to be forgotten by - la sua proprio casa - LA SCALA - cui nome avevo portato in alto in tutto il mondo. y pasa que es otra generacion educada respetuosa. despues de capucilli, seguido de nucci nose si va a haber alguien similar. La cultura se va perdiendo, reina el judaismo pornografico (porno,hollywood, vicios) y degrada el arte de la musica.

Да, точно..При том что его голос удивительно земной, тёплый, полнокровный..присутствие духа Божественного так явно, нечеловеческий из самых человечных,полный души и любви-это его баритон..ему вдохнул Дух святой своих тайн,Божья рука вела этого человека

He sounds very tired. Maybe he was ill and this is certainly one of the most demanding Verdi Arias. He is quite out of tune as well. Anyway, Bastianini’s “impostazione” should always be taken into consideration by today’s baritones.

You may be right about him being tired. I have read somewhere he sand four different roles in five days while in Spain.

1959, yes that tumor at throat... he got boos later years, no one knows he was suffering here and there, I guess he cannot always control his voice anymore... very sad.
