Main Features:
@ikier
1. Beastly Performance: Equipped with the unique highest power laser on the market, the laser's actual optical power can reach 70-77W, making it more suitable for high-speed processing and deep cutting. It supports a variety of materials, enhancing work efficiency.
2. Resume Engraving: The world's first laser engraving machine with the capability to resume engraving after a power outage, preventing work termination due to unforeseen circumstances, thus significantly saving materials and work time.
3. Intelligent Z-Axis: In addition to the X and Y axes, the IKIER laser engraving machine features an exclusive intelligent Z-axis, allowing both electric and manual adjustment. Three-axis control makes it more intelligent and user-friendly.
4. One-Click High-Speed Autofocus: With the assistance of the intelligent Z-axis, it achieves electric autofocus, making laser engraving more precise and simple. The laser automatically focuses with just a physical button press, completing the process in only 8 seconds.
5. Sinking Cutting: Benefit with IKIER's self-developed intelligent motherboard and optimized laser working algorithm, it can control the automatic descent of the laser, reducing the focal length.
6. Super-Fast Working Speed: The machine adopts a motion structure of optical axis and linear guide, enabling ultra-high-speed and high-precision operation at 900mm/s. The engraving accuracy can reach 0.01mm at the maximum speed, greatly improving work efficiency.
7. Precision in Cutting: The IKIER K1 PRO MAX 70W utilizes 14*6W lasers to achieve a high-power laser of 70-77W. Its cutting capability is 90-100% higher than existing 40W machines in the market, able to cut through 25mm plywood in a single pass, equivalent to the cutting capacity of 120-150W CO2 lasers.
8. Upgraded Compression spot Coupling Technology: The laser focus area is reduced to 0.15*0.2mm with ultra-fine focus. High-density laser can cut 30mm paulownia wood, 18mm black acrylic, 12mm MDF, 30mm pine board
9. Newly Robust Structure: The machine features a sturdy structure with an optical axis and linear guide motion structure, modular design, and can be quickly installed in 15 minutes.
10. 4.3-Inch Intelligent Offline Controller: Equipped with a 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen intelligent controller, providing a larger display and more control functions. It allows the machine to work offline, freeing it from PC limitations, making engraving more convenient.
11. Safety Protection: The IKIER cares about your work safety with features such as a physical switch key, sensitive gyroscope displacement detection, flame detection, and other safety protection devices.
12. Intelligent Air Assistance and heat dissipation: The IKIER K1 intelligently controls the air assistance and laser cooler, automatically switching and adjusting their power only during operation so now you no longer need to manually adjust them. This also saves energy and provides a quiet working environment.
13. Built-in Air Assistance: The IKIER includes built-in air assistance accessories with a dual-layer wind guide design, always cleaning up the air vents and ensuring continuous airflow, thus preventing blockage after long-term use.

    Thanks bud! It is definitely a lot of screwing around before you can actually engrave anything 😂. Minus the enclosure leaks, it isn’t that bad of a laser. Certainly is a little over the top in power 👍

    Thanks for the nice vid. Good work. Have you ever tried cutting bamboo. If this thing could cut through a .5 inch bamboo cutting board I'd buy it. Just don't want to plop 2k to find out. My 80 watt co2 will not do it.. the glue i guess. Maybe blue laser will?

    Many thanks! The cutting board would have been perfect, only if I would have checked for paint on the other side 😂. You move the laser over your material, and press the autofocus button, just that simple! Was accurate for everything I used it on.

    This was an informative video. I like what I see, for the most part, but think this may be too much power for me. I know that seems weird, but when you only need 1/4in or so, it can matter. Then again, the higher possibilities could be a nice trade off versus a 30W for only a hair cheaper.

    Many thanks! It is a lot of power! As I mentioned, 1/2 material is about the limit I willing to cut. I am wondering what will be the power cap? There has been a huge jump in 455nm laser power over the last two years. Frankly, I think the limit should be 40-50w. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍

    What are the advantages of 70W power over 30W power?

  • @TripodsGarage

    @TripodsGarage

    Well with more power you can actually process jobs fast. Say a job would normally take a couple of passed, now might take only one. Or you can use more power, and have the laser move faster to complete the job faster. Of course there is the cutting, it can cut thicker material more efficiently. Thanks for watching and commenting.

    @@QuentinKarmark 😂😂 When you made the comment, I knew you watched Chad’s video! Chad and I receive a lot of the same products, and support each other’s work. As Chad mentioned early into the video, that it “isn’t” suggested that you try it. We are talking very thin metals. You could think of the metal as almost like a veneer if you were to cut it out successfully. I did this on the xTool 40w video. I would suggest if you are wanting to cut metal by other means than a blade, get a plasma CNC, high power 1064nm 1k or higher laser, or CNC capable of doing it.

    Ok, appreciate the timely and thorough response… I actually have a need to cut very thin metal, and after seeing Chad’s video, was very excited to see if anyone else was attempting it with this or similar machines… especially at this price point.

    If something goes wrong don’t expect help from Ikier. The manuals are written by someone that doesn’t know what they’re talking about. They’ll string the conversation out till you have exceeded your frustration level. Then blame another department for failure to honor the Ikier warranty.😫

    Great review.I was about to buy this,the 70w was tempting.But I got the impression that the Ikier brand seemed a bit flimsy and on the lower quality side when it comes to build quality.And the way they have the wires,tubes etc is just way to messy for me.And i do believe that the bends you got on the enclosure is not from shipping,but bad handling at the manufacturer.To get these kinds of bends on items inside the box,the box itself has got to be badly damaged as well.I ended up going for the Xtool S1 40W,not perfect but i think that is a better choice then Ikier in terms of quality and usability....the thing the s1 is lacking compared to Ikier is camera and less power.I do believe the Ikier is more a cutting laser,and not perfect on detailed engraves,since it got a big spot size.Maybe that is no problem since you can change the wattage on this between 35w and 70w,making the spot size better for engraving in the 35 modus ?
