Very nice. I'm researching this now but I already have an 8drawer dresser and I.have over 20 pairs of shoes. So I'm trying to see how this would work for me. I've watched a few IKEA closet videos on here and I know the Ladies have way more shoes than what they are showing...

So cool right!! It's so great just to play around and start to get an idea of what you need and what you want.

I just watched a pax system video and I was going to buy a system but it's cheaper to buy the wood and build it myself. The best thing about this system is the drawers. I can easily build everything else myself.

Man I love ikea wardrobes, I used to have an old pax system 10 years ago and loved that one so much. Me and my boyfriend are moving to a new build house and will design a new pax system and it's a few months ahead but I can't wait. Definitely getting the same jewelry display you got, hopefully I will fit in both a long hanging section as well as a wardrobe for my boyfriend. he doesn't need as much space as I do though 😂

Yes! I am so happy to hear it lasted for so long! I love those silent shut drawers as well and the fact that you can add doors if you like in the future. So exciting to hear you get to design a new one. There are so many options now! Also, same haha Scotty and I definitely don't have the same sized wardrobe 😂😂

Hi Amanda! Your video is very helpful. Ikea planning tool doesn’t work on a tablet, and I don’t own a laptop nor desktop. My walk in closet desperately needs this! The dimensions are: Width is 79”, 127” depth along one wall, the opposite wall is 107 inches (20 inches of it is taken up by the master bath).

Hi. I'm not computer savvy nor do I own one. The employees at Ikea were very helpful in helping me design my Pax closet system. The only thing I needed was my measurements. I used the measurements taken by the closet designer that had given me an outrageous quote.🥴

What door options are there for the 75 cm frame? The doors either come in 25 or 50 cm.

So glad you liked it! I know when I was building mine the online portal at least gave me an idea of the pieces I would need and the price range I was looking at! Sometimes I will even just draw the shape and then this helped me know the exact sizes if it's a bit odd shaped!

I need your help please !! I need to build one along the wall of my bedroom and an other one in my walk in closet. This is really difficult!!!

Hi Amanda! I would love help! I have a walk in closet that is 79" high. The wall on left is 54" wide. The wall on the right is 54 inches wide also. Right when you walk in straight ahead I wanted to put a dressing table with a mirror and shelves or cabinets at the top. I want to be able to use the corners too. I like the pant pull out, the jewelry drawers, and most everything you have. Is there a laundry pull out or basket area? I'd really appreciate some help designing! Thank you! ~Shari

We are stuck! Our closet is 100"x 83". Couldn't figure out how to make the corner sections work so we are losing all the storage of the back wall!

I am trying to a besta living room system and it has zoomed in (no amount of ctrl - makes it less zoomed in) and I am trying to build a broom closet and shoe closet with pax-but it has now zoomed out so that it is almost impossible to see! Pamy Thg hi Pany! I am almost 100% you can do a delivery with IKEA. Of course this will be an extra fee but I remember someone else saying they were going to do that! Not sure if this changes upon location but I'd say the best thing to do would be to call your local store ☺️

Aw that is so hard! I would say to go into an IKEA with all of the measurements when you can and have their experts help you out. It would be so frustrating to build something and for it not work!

Hi Holly! Thanks so much for watching, so glad this helped! I believe you just have to have the Adobe flash player so I would recommend computer for that! Not sure if you can download that on your ipad as well!

How are you able to get the tool to work on a MacBook? It seems impossible even with the adobe download 😞😞😞

Hmm that's a great question! I suspect that if it's the same size across and you have the rails for the drawer it would work. I definitely think I'd call their support to inquire though! ☺️

Amanda, thank you so much! Yes, I will be in a small studio and the closet will have to be in a small bedroom. The wall where the closet will go is 165”. The bed is 60” and plus about 25” to leave some room between bed and a closet. So I would say the closet can be about 75”- 85” long. The ceiling is like 10’ high. I use KonMari method so more folding clothes than hanging ☺️ I should also mention that I live in Maine and it’s cold here, so sweaters and big coats 😄

I was creating it while watching your video. haha. I have a question: do you really need to put everything in the right place, or just have all the elements and you can figure out how high you want to place it after you get it? Thank you in advance! Best regards!

Sorry I missed this! I would say it is wise to have everything in place or a rough idea. When I was assembling though things did change on the fly according to the length of things. I think if you have a rough idea it will save you trips back to the store to return or purchase more of an item!

I agree - I have seen in the comments a few people having trouble with that! I ended up downloading the extension and it did work for me. If it gets super frustrating maybe bring your dimensions to an IKEA and design it on their computers! I know that's annoying but at least there will be someone there to help ya!

@@MegaEmorey Oh shoot that is so annoying! Hopefully there isn't too much tweaking to be done. Usually you can with the unique code but if the program isn't launching for you I can understand why it's not working. Bummer!

Great flexible Pax system and clever planning tool… somehow you can view your final assembly in a sort of 3D which I discovered accidentally . But it’s a shame ikea can’t pick your order from the bins and deliver the whole thing, as that is truly a horrible experience ! I don’t know how I can face another trip to their store….but the Pax is a good system🤔

Help !! I’m stuck. I’m working with a closet 131 inch long and 7 feet tall and 41 inch depth on the left but 24 inch depth on the right
