No problem about summer and winter temperature. Of course each person could have own feeling. Living in Italy, I find winter weather and summer whether but they're not so extreme.

Ce l'ho da due anni e mezzo e mi sono sempre trovato benissimo. Ho anche traslocato due volte ed è la prima cosa che cambio come entro nella casa nuova. Ovvio, non è il migliore ma non ho mai avuto problemi.

È il modello più rigido e nel tempo non ha perso la forma. Sicuramente non è un super materasso ma in generale non è un brutto prodotto. Da tenere in considerazione anche il basso costo.

I've had this mattress just over a week. I bought it to replace a Seely pocket sprung one that cost me £500 8 or 9 years ago. The Seely was far superior in every way - amazingly comfortable and supportive right from the start. I bought this as I'd slept on a single version at a friend's house for a couple of weeks and thought it was comfortable enough, so decided to try and save a bit of money. Also liked that I could go and pick it up rather than have to wait in for delivery. But at the moment it feels like I'm sleeping on a slab of heavy foam. In fact, there is a zip at one end of the mattress and inside you can see a huge slab of foam! I'm guessing the springs are between the foam. Not uncomfortable and I do sleep reasonably well on it but I'll probably change it after a year or two and go back to a really good quality one. However, they do say it gets better over time so I'll see how it goes. I think it's a great mattress for kids but just about OK for adults.

whitedogleeds - they state that it takes up to 4 or 6 weeks until the mattress fully settles in. The "slab of foam" you are seeing, is most likely just the cushioning on the outside, there definitely are real springs inside. What are your thoughts after half a year, do you still have it? Also did you get the softer or the firmer version (the Hovag comes in two firmness versions)?

Hi Still sleeping on it and have to say am very happy with it. The only aches I've felt in the morning have been around my neck and are more to do with my pillows than the mattress. So maybe I'll see if IKEA can sort me out with some decent pillows as well! I went for the medium/firm. Partly because the local store didn't have firm in stock and partly because the assistant felt that m/f would allow more flexibility than the firm one.

Had it for 2 months and hate it. I got the firm, really wanted a hard mattress and now it feels like a soft mattress not good for my back at all!! Wish i could send it back! I just feel it getting worse. 1st time dissapointed by ikea though :(

@@ttmmaacc went bad for me. Foam sagged at the center after only 1 year and it became uncomfortable. I think it is common on Ikea matresses (and other cheap, or even sometime expensive brands there days that use too much foam). If you are less than 80Kg maybe its fine.

Well, I came to see the mattress but got shown a lot of crack. Funny guy! 😀

I put mattress wrong way up as it was expanding. Has that broken it ?

ciao, come ho scritto in un altro post, probabilmente, se avessi avuto maggiore disponibilità, avrei acquistato altro è credo farò così in futuro. Ci si abitua a tutto però e, dopo più di un anno che dormo su questo materasso, non trovo particolari difetti ed io non lamento dolori. ....É chiaro che esiterà sempre qualcosa di meglio!

l'ho appena acquistato anch'io, semirigido perché dormiamo sul fianco. Visto il basso costo ed i risultati nella prova di Altroconsumo, valeva la pena provarlo prima di svenarsi con cose più raffinate...

Yes they can because the coils are fully compressed so they don't bend and break when rolled. You just can't bend it *after* you remove the vacuum.
