You can get black magnet's with hooks at Walmart to hang a small fan or anything else . You can also get custom acrylic back boards and shelving with slots for air flow on Etsy. The acrylic would be nice because of it being clear and let's the light through. You can also get custom door knobs on Etsy although not something I'd get. You may want to seal any metal you drilled with a bit of paint so it doesn't rust. Love your cabinet and thanks for the video Fern. 👍♥️🦋

Great job on the cabinet! My tropical plants are thriving in mine and I plan to get a second cabinet soon. Couple tips I've picked up: get grommets for your drilled holes bc the metal edges are rough and can wear at your electrical cords. Also coat the edge of the cut holes with paint to prevent rust since the humidity level will be high in your cabinet.

Yesss I've been waiting so long for this!!! The Skadis line is bomb, I've even used the clips to hook my taller monstera leaves over to position them how I want so they don't just hang all over everything! Looks so good! After switching my Alcosias to LECA and putting them in a small Ikea greenhouse, they've started shooting out new leaves. I'm sure the humidity will be good for them in there.

I love my ikea greenhouse so much. Adding the pegboards was a game changer. My hoyas have been growing like crazy and my philo leaves have doubled in size. I have had some bleaching on a few from the grow lights so keep an eye on how close they get.

Do you need to spray the peg board with anti fungal spray or something that prevents fungus/ mold growth even with a fan in?

I'm glad you have already achieved it, I look very beautiful, I'm from Argentina but I already want one hahaha I think that the alocasia amazónica would be in its perfect jungle being in that cab ♥

I rehab Alocasia for a nursery that I do some work for, and they love super high humidity, they also want really strong light. Mine is in a cabinet set up and even the seedlings go directly under a light that's only about 30cm above. So your alocasias will love your milsbo but I would move them so that they get more light.

Okay, so. This time travel issue is a bit less complicated if the single most relevant factor(the beginning in perpetuity) is forgone. Let me explain(I am just thinking ahead for some kind of controlled enviroment that I can portion of into quadrants so that plants I want to keep, or want to sell, don't overcrowd my general space). @@wildfern that is a good idea! I just found a little white bug marching around on the pot my Begonia is in, and believe me when I say I was ready for war! I sprayed her off and the top layer of the soil with neem oil and I haven't seen any more, so I guess the problem has been resolved?

You did such amazing job wow 💯 And I agree, moss would look super cool in some of the little transparent containers!

There is no humidifier. It maintains humidity with just the weatherstripping. Too wet & foggy with a humidifier.

Lights aren't heavy, but does it get warm? That could soften the adhesive.

They don't really get warm, I think it's the humidity that makes it so they won't stick to glass :( I don't know lol

I enjoyed your video. I'm goimg to Ikea afert work today to but a Milsbo cabinet. The humidity was 80% what was to ambiante humidity out side of it? I'm askimg because I too live jn Canada and the winters are cold. I like the room on the colder side.

Love your build you did a great job! Just a little tip for ya.. look up grommets on amazon or check your local hardware store! You can put them on your drill holes to protect yourself while putting wires through 😁

Are you nervous that the heat from the lights will melt/dissolve to stickiness of the tape? I believe kaylee Ellen's did dissolve but I'm not sure she said what she used instead of the tape after that happened!

Hey! Yes, one day 🥰 and these lights aren't giving off heat! I think Kaylee is using different ones that look a little more heavy duty so that could be why. The ones in mine are very lightweight, so I'm hoping it won't be a problem!

I have the Fabrikor cabinet. I put it together and I love it. The only issue is when I close it the door gapes open. I did weatherstrip too. Any advice??????

The skadis is made of plastic so there shouldn't be any concerns for warping from the humidity

Ooo I'm not sure what the type is. They are drilled right through the pegboard and metal on the back and secured with a wing nut.

I’ve heart that the humidity can cause them to fall over time. I have had mine fall a couple of times but I also didn’t get the super heavy duty tape
