Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included kzread.infoUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.

It looks really good! The only thing I woud have done different is use a miter joint to put the pieces of wood togheter, but thats personal preference I guess.

I agree, that would have given it a better finish. Since this was the first time we did this, wanted to keep it easy. We just did another project where we used miter joints. :)

I'm pretty sure it's DAP Alex Fast Dry. When buying caulk just check to see if it's marked paintable or not. ;)

Hi - I have some of the malm dressers and I want to replace the drawer glides with longer extension ball bearing drawer glides that allow the drawers to go all the way out. Could you make a video for this? Especially curious of what hardware would work.

What size wood pieces did you use?

It looks beautiful, & I love the color! IKEA is such a great furniture, to elevate, so you don't have to do all the work of actually constructing the dresser or whatever piece you're elevating, and my Billy Book case was everything, to me, back in college, and I decorated it, and lit it so beautifully, and I still have it and think about fixing it, but it's more work than I'm physically able to put into it, but that bookcase is near and dear to my heart, so I 🙏my pain is better so that I can engage in many of my passions, which is to restore furniture, and all manners of construction in elevating my home. Blessings to this family and their little one-be happy and above all, healthy, because if you have your health, you really have everything! 🥰💜🙏 ps. Maybe I missed it, but can you please tell me what you did to make the paint adhere to IKEA furniture which is really hard because usually you have to sand it, and use certain types of paint and primer,& again, if I missed it, I apologize, but if I didn't, can you kindly let me know how you got the paint to not scratch off And adhere properly. Thank you, kindly.🥰

thank you! i used the gorilla glue to stick the wood pieces and then put something heavy on them for about an hour for it to stick.

I didn’t! Only added a primer for the paint to last longer. 😊
