My good friends moved away from their tear drop camper trailer and went into a roof top set up. You did a great job explaining how to insulate it and warm it. As always thank you for another positive video.

That's tough to choose! 🤔 This is great but not in Winter in Canada, but for travelling with Tobi and the dogs on our US trips will be awesome! The SnowTrekker is still my favourite in Winter 😄

That looked like a very beautiful camp site! The top of vehicle tents are really nice, and they also provide a good amount of separation between you and any wandering wildlife.

Looks like it was a really nice evening. I really like the glow from that Claymore. I don’t think I’m gonna be doing any winter camping this year. Not feeling motivated to be out in the cold like that anymore. We already have 2 feet of snow on the ground anyway but it’s supposed to warm up this week. nice to see you trying to keep Toby warm. Fun video. Always great to see Toby and Simon joining you and Esme. Any issues with the “kids” wanting out in the middle of the night? Might be more of a pain than with the Teton tent cot set up?

Nice video! Thank you for doing that. I have pre-ordered a skycamp 3.0 for my JLUR and I already have the Pioneer Platform installed. Did you have to modify anything to your platform or rtt to make it fit or was it a perfect match? Thanks

I have been trying to find the same information. So the rails on the ikamper 3.0 line up in between the (5) long panels to attach the 4 clamps. I have seen some guys needed to drill.

I literally just bought this tent a few weeks ago for my 21’ JL Rubicon. Now I’m waiting on the roof rack. Also your same set up too. Do you have the bars that go across under the roof rack or just the roof rack? Also, how does the Skycamp mount to the rack? Was there anything special that you had to do?

Hi J. R. - The Pioneer rack mounts to the backbone system. Here are all the parts:- 52108 - RHINO RACK PIONEER PLATFORM 72" X 56", RCL6 - RHINO RACK - RCL LOCKING LEG. (x 6) RJLB1 - RHINO RACK - BACKBONE MOUNTING SYSTEM. The platform came pre-assembled (you can buy it unassembled but don't! It's worth the extra) and installed it all myself. The SkyCamp 3.0 will then attach to the Pioneer rack directly. Very easy to clamp on. I did get some wind noise after the install so I added some foam, however there is a wind deflector available from iKamper! Hope that helps!

What happened to the budget camping series? Also please go back to the old style of videos with you and the dogs going out to camp out in the bush and set up a tent with a stove

Occasionally he has to Glamp since his wonderful wife comes along. I noticed he make sure he has additional warmth and comforts when his better half is along for the night. 😉
