One of my favorite ship. Akizuki is still on my lineup when I use the Hyuga. My crew is almost aced on this ship so loading time fuse on the main guns and letting your AI controle them create a 5km no flight zone around you. Sometimes fast planes can enter the 5km radius but then it's the 25mm that will vaporise anything flying 3km from you.

@@helljumper4565 upgrading the crew i just maxed the aa crew and use seath ammo. And it got 28 kills on aicraft in custom battles. Just Max the crew and the commander and especially the A.A reload speed... and upgrade them to crew mastery to make them op. Always remember to use akizuki as a support ship... and its a perfect ship to hit and run tactics.... always use smoke screen and torpedoes when fleeing.

I'd just like to add 1 more thing: the 100mm shells are too weak to "hull beak" any PT boat! So multiple hits needed to take one out!

Hm was that a post 2.01 thing as I remember in 1.99 that 3.9" mounts could hullbreak an the only cannon that couldn't was the early British 4" as the lordite amount was like only 900 grams an hullbreak need above 1.4kg tnt. Still with 2.01 DM's hullbreak may as well be removed as but 2-3 salvos is enough with these 3.9" mounts.

@@lordwintertown8284 At 1st I thought the "hull break" was based on the amount of explosive filler of the shell, but for example the 102mm guns on the Groza never could "hull break" a PT boat despite its HE has a 2.1 kg TNT filler, while the British Mark 16/102 mm could (and still can) with less!

daka daka for smaller guns and being able to face 5.7s, oh and not even being that good as a AA destroyer, seems like a bargain

@@DetectivePardo This pans out for the most part..ive rarely hit 5.7s. Even when you do though, there are plenty of smaller ships around and its AA is pretty much top notch for its BR. You do have to play pretty conservatively though, can just go in guns blazing unless your in a DT.

This is my favorite ship currrently

The mulptile cannons are deadly, they might be weak but the amount of shells is what gets them

@@-_-9440 0.10.0 for wows reworked the captain skills, for better or for worse i can't say since i only decent at the game and i spend most of my time in cruisers and DDs with my highest being the nurnberg edit: the update was 0.10.0 not 10.0

@@AlphonseZukor In my experience it is quite tanky but often gets randomly one shoted especialy by russian Tashkent. Also I dont know where and how to aim at ships to do most damage.

Yeah Kako it's extremely tanky on her B.r and can deal heavy damage if you manage to land hit on destroyer(manage to destroy Eugene once with this ship), the problem is it have horrible accuracy, so i really advice to targetting ship who are located under 6km from you, and if you alreary good enough you can use it as moving bunker (watch for torp tho, make sure it always hit the middle of your hull), and oh her torp is useless

Please make a video on the Agano I'm suffering so much using it specially after the shell nerf. Japan's 5br void is awful and my grind is stuck because of it.

Can u do a video on the type 1936a mob or emden next? Or, u can cover the leipzig, koln, nurnberg all together as they are similar. Great video as always

Also as I explained before the HE belt doesn't 'really' do the most damage, it actually has the worst shells in said belt. Technically they have a higher fire chance but a flaming fighter can still bomb you.

I believe the Leningrad premium destroyer has the worst survivability for destroyers, as it solely relies on its speed.

For some reason, Im having to fire at almost the bottom of my screen for my shots to hit. Whenever I aim where I usually aim in arcade, my shots are always going high, where in arcade, they would usually hit. Can you help?

In Arcade, your aiming disatance is automatically set to the enemy's distance when a shell hits the water. In Realistic, you have to manually scroll up and down to adjust the aiming distance, which is displayed to the right of the cursor.

Ducky is thus far my favorite IJN DD, but is now beign replaced by Shima, just because she's slightly better in every regard.

Hm with 2.01 poxy DM's this is a nightmare to face especially if you're a lightly built vessel. Ohh thx now I remember we cannot do tasks with now lower rank vessels that's also a reason to hate 2.01.

@@flippedstug9517 Aye that's fair, to be honest the site is so outdated, clunky and mismanaged it's only saving grace is that it's been the biggest community site for so long. But even then many people have mostly moved to twitter for their uploading for one reason or another.

Sad that Gaijin insists on calling it a good AA cruiser when it fails on almost all accounts. Firstly its long ranged AA lacks proximity fuses, which ingame are infinitely more useful and harder to dodge. Secondly while it has 8 guns and they fire rapidly, they are also relatively weak and overall pump out less HE per minute than a basic sumner class who'll be spitting out VT fuses with even higher ROF per gun. Lastly while it has lots of AA guns, they have a pretty short maximum range, and the US DD's will be pumping out lead entire kilometers further out, giving you more chance to survive a bomb hit. Overall the thing could be 4.3 in the current state and it'd be fine, it cannot even really damage USN DD's in areas. Edit: This could be avoided by giving he Aki its prototype VT fuses Japan had built thousands of. Before anyone complains the game already features prototype rounds in the form of the 1911 SAP shells Russia gets. Official dialogue from Gaijin devs states "as long as the gun COULD fire something, it should have the shells". AKA, HEAT-FS for IS2 too lol.

I might do that, I tried it and it played really well, though I normally avoid playing 5.0 right now due to the uptiers.
