Bro, they are coming for an exchange program. Means, they are studying only one semester of their entire course at IIT. Means, they're doing their course at their parent university only. Regarding the fee, they have to pay the same fee at the parent university, and have to pay extra for traveling to India if no scholarship is there. Hence, they're coming to explore, not because they can save money by studying here.

I suspect that most of these foreign students are at iit-madras for an inexpensive holiday/ vacation. I don't think that they have any serious, scholarly intent, and I don't blame them. some suggestions: #1: an iit's libraries ought to stay open all night; yes, 24 hours of each day. #2: iit-m should be more selective; it should not merely serve as an inexpensive holiday/ vacation home for foreign students.

iit m means a lot to me.......

Cracking IIT is the the toughest exam in the world . Google it . You can’t get into an IIT easily . 36% of NASA employees are Indian and IItans and also the CEO’s . If the European universities are so goods . Why aren’t they seen everywhere ? Yes it’s not expensive, so does it mean it’s not worth it . To everyone saying they are coming here because it’s cheap , kindly crack a single question of IIT then speak shits . Getting into any government college in India has an acceptance rate of 0.1% . You have to work your ass for to get into a government college .

I am from Rajasthan and if i can't understand your water problem then no one can ,here rain cames 1 to 2 times in a year and we try to survive with that . we have been demanding from many years to government but still no solution. and on other side on Rajasthan Pakistan boarder every day many things happen that even don't come in fronts of Media and world . but India is a developing country and all the things supposed to be happen .it's takes time.
