To all who claim heresy, know this: There was a group of Emperor's Children known as the 38th Millenial (their equal to a Chapter pre-heresy) who fought with the loyalists against their own brothers. To top it off, they still proudly wore their III Legion armour while doing it, and a loyalist Dreadnaught who survived the heresy named Rylanor (?) almost assassinated Fulgrim on Istvaan III by kamikaze with a Virus bomb several thousand years later.

You know, I've got quite a few different fandoms that I have appreciated in my time. With many different content creators each providing a different sensation of experience. Lady of Scrolls from the Elder Scrolls series has a voice like a maiden curled up on a soft couch, soothing and enchanting. Aetherhub who still highlights the lore of Magic; the Gathering, is a bluff and affable nerdy older brother, happy to have you along as he weaves together a story like an adventure. But yourself, Oculus Imperia.. While there are many amongst the storytelling community of the 41st Millennium and the Heresy era that are kinds of gruff, quirky or humorous, what your voice gives me the impression of is that of a Patrician, sharply intelligent yet kindly uncle, reading us his stuff that he brought home from work in an armchair by a nice fireplace. Sounding off the end of every lecture with a grace and saying that doesn't simply impress its values upon the listeners, but convinces them to say it alongside you. And while I can't spare anything right now, I wanted to share that with you. Ave Imperator. Gloria, in Excelsis Terra.

By far the best 40K lore channel! This is the tone and atmosphere of true Warhammer, I'm so sick and tired of people treating the universe like its a Saturday morning cartoon or just funny meme fiction, 40K is as good a sci-fi setting as Dune or The Foundation. Thank you for giving it the respect it deserves. (Can't wait for the Death Guard!)

40k is like Jojo. It does what it does so well, that it simultaneously creates its own genre and parodies it. A lot of 40k, most of it in fact, is completely ridiculous and that's part of the point.

40k is british humor at its best, tongue and cheek style. I love the lore and how nearly everything is tuned to be ridiculous, while fighting to keep a serious tone. Great lore vids, oculus!

Such a shame that such a noble Legion were to fall. Not many Legions were open to fighting with normal humans and treat them as equals.

I just have to say that you are the best lore channel imo, the charachter you use to portray the HH lore and the way its worded fit so much with the universe itself, i listen to arch for speculating and do enjoy it but it is your channel that stands shoulders above a others that merely read out of the lexicanum and I thank you for it, would love to donate once i get on my feet so to say. Keep up the good work!

2nd only to luetin. His narration feels a bit more natural and effortless and is therefore easier to listen to for me (im not a native speaker, maybe thats the reason). i cant watch the other 40k youtubers (arch warhammer, baldermort, 40k theories and one mind syndicate), they all lack a voice that is just pleasing to listen to.

So the gifting of the Palatine Aquila was gifted to them before Fulgrim's discovery along with their namesake before Fulgrim's speech which made the name stick? Interesting. :D

I still have hope that fulgrim's clone will emerge and set things right. In repentance through service and putting down the monsters whom were the once glorious third with a new force courtesy of cawl.

fulgrim was one of the best Horus heresy books. Seeing the rise of proto noise Marines and the corruption of the legion was amazing.

So.. when did they change the lore? It used to be that the third legion wasn't called the emperors children until AFTER fulgrim did his speech, because the emperor was so moved by it

I said it before and i will say it again : The work done here by Oculus Imperia is utterly and completly unmatched by anyone doing the same here on KZread. And once again i feel that this gets better with every video uploaded. I wouldnt even consider listening to lore of this degenerate pain worshippers. I read and heard it all before...but this is just sooooooooooooooo good !

In the name of Terran Cybernetic Manufactor Kevin Flynn: The thing about perfection is that it's unknowable. It's impossible, but it's also right in front of us all the time. You wouldn't know that because I didn't when I created you. In the manufactors’ previous years before this he had created an artificial intelligence; a sin against the Omnissiah that spun out of control and tried to destroy all that he created and inflict devastation on humanity. Only by destroying his creation, and himself in the process could the threat be destroyed.

Another concept of perfection I have head is fulfilling one's purpose. Does the screwdriver fulfill it's purpose? If yes, then it is perfect.

This is probably my fave channel for Warhammer lore. Great lore, no swearing like a sailor, speed of your voice not like you have had like 22 cups of coffee. Great artwork too.

Ok, so I know that the video is online since a long time but were did you find the thumbnail image ? The one with the loyalist Emperor's Children holding a captured flag of Horus ? I was looking for it like everywhere without finding it. If anyone can answer me I would be eternally grateful.

Given what we know about inbreeding within and among noble houses, it would be supprising if they were genetically sound enough to serve as a recruitment pool for Astartes.
