근데 이거 잘못된 생각임 그 5명이 혼자서는 못불러서 5명 나눠서 부르는게 아니라 5인 그룹이니까 나눠서 부르는 거임

it's about breathing and the ups and downs in the song. a song for 5 people is hard to sing by one because it needs stamina and a huge ability of controling ur breathe and ur voice. talent is being able to go back and forth with the notes while ur voice sounds amazing

realist in songs, from every phrase to phrase, there would be what we call as "rests". Singers breathe during those rests. For kpop group songs, the rests would normally be much shorter compared to solo songs, that is why they sound so intense.

ky99999999 I'll tell you this. make hongki sing this in a slightly lower key, and he'll be miles better. trust me, i understand what you're saying, but instead of just sounding just out of breath because of the continuity (which many pop songs have these days), he's slightly forcing his voice out. that takes double the effort. he's doing it really well, again I'm telling you, but " 5 person song" isn't applicable for most kpop songs. this one specifically has really short rests and on top of that, verses in fast vibrato. what my disagreement with the original comment is, you shouldn't measure vocal talent based on if they can "hit" notes or "manage" songs, but if they're doing it properly and healthily. that's it. if breathing technique is strong, you won't unnecessarily be gasping for breath etc etc. hongki is a pretty good vocalist, but I'd appreciate him more for timbre than technique

People forget one the original had 5 voices, he is covering all the notes by himself and he is bound to make mistakes because you can't sing both high and lows at the same time, second he is doing it from a Karaoke machine not a real sound equipment, with the limited resources he is doing it I say this is the best cover anyone could ever do, I dare anyone else to try to do it better...

Miss Kim I don't know who the heck is that but it's not Hong Ki and I didn't like it, it didn't sound the same, I said try to do it better without being a professional setting and that was a TV show... and he didn't, he was screaming the notes he couldn't reach, didn't you noticed that? is a technique singers use when the air is not enough and the key is too far away, people always trying to put Hong Ki down. why?

After listening to & watching so many covers of Mirotic over the years, I must say hongki's cover is one of the best! Though he made some mistakes here and there, but his vocals are powerful enough to carry this legendary song and the emotions are just right too! Mirotic is a legendary song that not many artistes can pull off well~

Don't forget.... 'without dancing'. But from other singers who covered Mirotic I like his voice, powerful. But don't forget too he couldn't reach Changmin high note.

me irah i know changmin's high note is legendary. However i'm pretty sure in a more serious singing Hongki can hit that note, FT's songs have so many high notes themselves.
