Really impressive. Looks like i am going in the right direction. How and when did you stop giving him treats? We are at 10 weeks only, but hi is doing most of the commands spot on (inside)...

Just eventually stop treating him every time. Only give him the treat every other time. "Sit." *No treat* "Good boy!" "Sit." *Treat* "Good boy!" So basically he learns he doesn't get a treat every time. Then start doing no treat, no treat, treat. And just slowly making treats a rare thing. I wouldn't Make treats are really rare thing for him until he's older. Once he's older he gets a reward just by making you happy, or a ball/toy.

@@hazsmoothwalker7458 Good advice, thank you. I had that in my mind, but wanted to be sure, we are already doing the right thing then. Since i got you on my hook .. Do you have any advice around the kids. We have 3 kids, youngest one being 6 i cannot always be around obviously. The puppy ignores any commands that they give, hi is naturally protective over the youngest one, but in the same time when inside the house hi not just nips, but barks and even growls at the older ones when they try to grab his collar and get him to behave when hi nips the youngest one. Basically hi feels in control over them and now they get a bit scared of him. The only thing they can do is put him in the cage, but the youngest one obviously is not capable of dragging him in there.. This concerns me and i will appreciate any pointers if you have any experience with it.

I think it’s precisely BECAUSE it’s your first and “worst” video. A lot of people want to see the beginning standard. Good work, though. GSD was still in good form at IGP 1.
