I'm playing the first game right now and some of the side stuff does feel repetitive and a little boring. Not too bad of course, but if the second one doubled down on it I definitely get the point. Yeah when the first game came out one of its criticisms was that the side missions weren’t really interesting and quite boring. I haven’t finished Spider-Man 2 yet but I can say that the side missions have been drastically improved

I haven't played or watched Mirage but all I know is that the gameplay is horendus and when you hit enemeies they barely even move. It looks horrible compared to spiderman 2 which has actually been the most fun i've had with a game in a while.

The main issue is the fact that first Spider Man and Spider Man 2 is the same fucking game with dogshit plot.

IGN did say "A tale with miles of emotional depth that doesn't threaten to peter out." Spent more time on that bar than playing the game...

You sold the act so well that i thought it was real.

For me the only thing that could be improved is that one mysterious mission which only professional gamers can beat, it took me around 7 tries without the easy difficulty in slow motion. And the final boss music. When you compare venom’s theme to doc ock’s theme the final boss for the first game was a lot more dramatic and emotional.

You forgot ro include the fact that the game "makes you feel like Spider-man"
