It's always nice to have videos like this no matter what rank you are. Breaking down the small things helps you realize some things that's going wrong.

Hey Steel do you think you could make a video talking about playing from behind? What to do and not to do when your team loses the first man early in a round. I know a lot of it is situational but hearing how you react as an IGL would be an interesting video.

One more thing to mention is that you should be running defaults in the first 5-6 rounds to kind of get the basic idea of what the enemy team wants to run. Are they trying to peak too much, are they playing very passive are they playing very messy. Because in the first 5-6 rounds you have the pistol round, eco round and buy rounds. If you're IGL in pub then try to stick on one side of the map and kind of see it for yourself what they're trying to do and whether you can find a weak spot to abuse. Common spots as TT could be: Cache squeaky/b, Mirage apartments, Train ladder/b, Inferno apartments/boiler, Overpass monster/short.

I'm a new igl for a new team and this series is SUPER helpful!! Please do more of these

Slepi it can be used in MM and will help people loads, just most people that play the game are lazy cunts who don't want to learn anything and just rely on aim to win games.

The best what you can do is: 1. Get a team (A serious team) 2. Say your team: Watch this vid 3. After that everyone should have a plan (You smoke Window, ... smoke connect, ....smokes short 4. Win.

as an IGL that often soloque i usually called strat For example on CT side at train i usually do 2 connector 2 ivy and one back of b, if they're not rushing A, or no sound 2 back of b, one connector, 1 back of a watching ivy, and one behind site i called this like "2 ivy 2 connector 1 back of b please, i be ivy, if no rush a con go b," then i usually the guy who go a site, making it easier to understand. on mirage i usually said (as a T) 'blue' go mid with me i smoke SN, split, hold, or on pistol round on mirage i usually just said "b-walk" is kinda nice strat to me

Also to add against CT low economy buys, default allows you to waste their small amount of utility, meaning when you execute later in the round, they wont have any util to counter your execute or to retake the site post-plant.

1. What is he comfortable and/or willing to do? 2. What is he capable of/ what risk do you want to take (and is the risk worth it, can the team convert the round even if he looses the duel)? 3. Is he supposed to get the opening kill or just hold one angle (in a set piece for example) 3. What is your goal of the round/ where do you want him (look for an opening/ hold an angle)? Talk with him, your team and yourself about this and you should be able to figure it out. I hope i was able to help!

It depends how ur awper plays mine plays passively so we will generally in our default have him with the lurker who's close by but working his own part of the map

Angry Olive i’m an IGL and also the team’s awper! it really depends on how comfortable your awper is. i personally get super aggressive on the t side, trying to get at least 1 kill on either sites. i avoid mid as an awper on the T side(especially on mirage) because i feel like the timing is never on my side. therefore just play the sites and getting a pick and alerting the team of any rotates. i play with the awp like i do with the ak i guess

You could pair them up with someone to flash for them so they can peek. If someone is holding and angle and gets completely blinded all of a sudden it's an easy kill.

based on the map control you have the info you gathered after your default, also depends on kills/death that happened with the default, the utilities you still have. After the default the igl usually gathers all these inputs from players and makes the final decision based on that
