IGBT Adjustable Power Supply 0-100V 30A | DC Voltage Regulator

Make Adjustable Voltage Regulator Using IGBT with voltage range from 0-100V at 30A
The IGBT used in this circuit has high power dissipation capacity of 500w and also features a high current upto 60A max with voltage more than 200V,it really efficient and produce less heat than linear regulator.

    Its good to test an IGBT, but you cant transfer 5A or 10A! or the IGBT will burn after Overheating, specialy if you have 60V input and 12V output!!! 60-12=48V , 48V*10A= 480Watt that means you produce 480Watt Heat in a 290Watt IGBT, and the Consumer get just 12V*10A = 120Watt :D

    I made the same circuit. There is no problem with 12 volt 1 or 2 ampere powers. But when I tried to light 8 parallel connected lamps by feeding it with 75 volt 15 ampere transformer, first the potentiometer and then the mosfet burned. The mosfet I used is IRFP260.. So this project is useless.
