    Now hopefully people learn to stop doubting Iga in Finals because she’s just a different beast. She can play offense and defense so well, and combined with her experience in these bigger stages, she’s already a foot in front of the rest of the tour. I don’t see any of the young gen beating her within the next 2 years in big tournament finals because she’s just a level above everyone else.

    Iga has the best defense I’ve seen since Kim Clijsters & Venus Williams! Essentially being a human back board! Incredible tennis. Jabeur hits a heavy, heavy ball. Watching Swiatek utilize her topspin on both wings is great to swatch. She uses an extreme grip

    One trait that I really like about Iga is her straight forward approach to tennis…. No drama antics, no victim playing…. She goes to the court and leaves the court

  • @sffg9671
    @sffg9671 Жыл бұрын

    Iga's ability to keep her ultimate best tennis for the final is unparalleled, her serving was excellent, she was painting the lines brilliantly and she had such a mature shot selection, after all those hard-fought victories and up and down performances against Davis, Niemayer and Sabalenka I did not quite expect her to play that well. The most impressive is that she has still plenty of room for improvement (2nd serve, slice, maybe net play). She can easily dominate the tour, at least on clay and hard, grass seems trickier for her to master

  • @TheStonedstone

    That definetely wasn't Iga's best tennis. She apparently struggles on her forehand wing, doesn't play it with full confidence. If she will regain her full forehand form, with confidence, steadiness, timing and force, will be invincible for years.

    Both of them are great players. I may be biased because I like Iga more, but Ons will definitely win GS title/s one day. It was the trait of a champion that made Iga win that 2nd set, thus avoiding a decider. Congrats Iga on your success. Looking forward to Ostrava and WTA Finals.

    Ons peaked at the semifinal unfortunately. Her serve completely failed her in the finals and I think it's due to nerves. I hope she'll grow a bit and drop the unnecessary "tricks" like changing rackets during her opponents serve, it's unnecessary and not classy! I prefer Ons's game by far.. when she's in form. She needs to improve her serve (1st and 2nd) and stop with this imposter syndrome! She belongs, she's consistent, she plays beautifully when she wants to, she won titles, now it's time to win a GS
