Pretty solid mach from Iga . Some good efforf from the opponent.

Iga will need to clean up her game more to win in the upcoming rounds. Hoping she can now that its clay season. Would be great to see her win 3x/row Porsches.

Iga seemed a bit rusty to me, I might be wrong. But she knows how to close a match, even if she experiences issues throughout. Congrats to Mertens, she put up a good fight. Iga might need to straighten up a few issues here and there, for the next round opponent could be Raducanu, who is very much in form and confident at the moment, or cool-headed Noskova, whom Iga has not played on clay yet. Could be a good test, either way.

The queen of the clay on the action. I always enjoy watching my favorite female tennis competitor Iga Swiatek on the clay court. The reigning champion has demonstrated a gallant and intrepid performance against Mertens. Particularly, Polish tennis competitor had a large superiority in the long rallies and tussles. The mischance of Elise Mertens was in this round. It was totally an unforeseen matchup for Belgian tennis player. She is really a resourceful and capable tennis competitor with her aptitudes and personal traits. If she hadn't had an adventitious clash in round of 16, she could have smoothly progressed into the quarter-final.

Who gonna get the new Porsche? I own a car, once, long time ago. But. Who not like idea of playing for a premiere sports car AND prize money? This tournament pretty awesome. They should have like 3 'car-win' tournaments in WTA and ATP. You have Porsche. Why not go Pagani and Mercedes or something? The former I seen in 'Transformers 4.' It was her first match on clay since RG 2023 so obviously she was a little bit rusty. Unlike Mertens who already played 2 matches in Stuttgart. She will be fine.

Iga miała już dość ataku non stop w mediach od Iwanów. Pieniądze z ropy idą w Rosji w większości na wojnę, w tym na propagandę i pieniądze na trolli. To grube pieniądze i kilkadziesiąt tysięcy zatrudnionych ludzi do trollowania. To przygotowanie gruntu na atak na Polskę.
