She competed two years ago, half fit and under prepared I don’t think that’s the case this time. She will definitely compete.

7-5, I think, for Emma in 2024, prior to the quarterfinal match vs Iga. Her fans have to hope she makes a real run in a tourney, to solidly be in the top 100

OMG, that guy asking if she thinks she will be dominant in the future (at 2:39), saying there hasn't been any constant and dominant players in the past few years, has obviously no clue about women's tennis. I like her unbothered answer, though. She is right, I think. Both she and Sabalenka have been the most consistent players recently. That is, in comparison to the rest of the field. So, to ask her this question now, when the distance in points between her and Sabalenka and then the rest of the field after Sabalenka is huge, is so uninformed and ignorant.

Sorry to say but Emma will be devoured in two strait sets with probable bakery. I like her and I wish her well but I'm realistic about her current form and abilities which are good and improving but it still not enough to compete with #1.

And I’m sure the fact that you’re Polish hasn’t contributed to your opinion whatsoever 😂 Emma is unlikely to win but she won’t get hammered either, she’s playing well and all the pressure is on Iga. She just bageled a girl who’s already beaten Iga this year 😉
