Shimano PW DNA Pelagic Nano Rod, matched with a shimano Stella SW 8000 reel with 45lb Fins 40G braid

In the US a kingfish is referring to a King Mackerel.

You can catch those in docklands victoria

even the saltist bw sj rods are good if you want cheaper - $130

Can't knock ya catches but every episode of I fish is off a boat, call me bias but I would love to see more land based beach, rock and estuary from the shore just for us average Joe's that can't afford a boat.

Hey Nicholas, it may seem that way but we actually did a fair few land based eps last season, but trust me - we love to fish LB! We're currently filming season 14 at the moment and we have some epic land based goals - big jewfish, gummy sharks, bass, tuna, mullet....the list goes on! Now we just need good weather and some good luck! Stay tuned! Cheers

what a stupid rig paul, if you bust off a fish, that poor fish has to drag that sinker around, use the 10oz ball sinker running rig. sinker falls off if you bust the fish off. and can still feed grow etc..

Take a leaf out of “The Captain” or “Youngblood’s” KZread videos. I highly recommend The Captain. I just wasn’t a fan of the metal guitar playing while the fishing was on. The hardcore bogans like that stuff but as a representative of the new younger generation I recommend a switch. I love Paul by the way, always watched the show when I got home from work before I went to the gym 🤙🏻
