iFetch Frenzy Toy Review

The Dawghouse tests and reviews the iFetch Frenzy. Supposedly this is a toy that your dogs will play with unsupervised, I personally wouldn't leave my dogs alone with tennis balls this small for fear that they would ingest them. It says medium dogs but I would really only trust small dogs with this toy. Not something we would use in our household but if you have a small dog that's very "ball driven" it could be a fun toy for them.
Any suggestions on what you'd like to see next are more than welcome!

This is amazing! I have a beagle/sausage mix and he adores balls. I don't have enough time to throw him the ball all the time to he is gonna love this. Thank you for the review

It would be interesting to see Mr Grimm with the larger one out in the yard. I think Grimm would keep himself occupied for a long time because no doubt he would learn to drop it in, in no time!! Great Video Jessica!!!

Our Chihuahua mix loves fetch. I've been toying with the idea of one of these. It's nice to see an actual first time use of it. Thanks for the review!

Absolutely! I would say for most chihuahuas this one might be too tall. But the next size that’s electric is short enough for a chihuahua

Good video as always! Something I have learned over the past few weeks since we got our new Corgi puppy, 12 weeks old, is that he seems to love the toys less than loves eating/tearing up the Amazon boxes the toys come in, haha.

We have the ifetch too and just ordered the frenzy. The launcher the ifetch too is the best investment we have ever made! Both of my girls love it! The frenzy seems good for indoor stimulation play. The only thing I would change are the balls. The chuck it rubber balls seem to be best. My girls will bust them and take off the felt. They are smart enough not to swallow them but the chuck its seem more durable.

Seems like something that would be played with for a day or 2 but past that i dnt know. dogs ive had like the running an chasing aspect of fetch. Maybe the one that lauches it would be better

Lovely kids but yr bt looks very small next to the other ones. How much does he/she weigh? Very cute. I have bts too. I’m considering this one because I have read the the ones that throw cthe balls higher have hurt dogs eyes and I’m scared to hurt my bts.

I have 3 Cavaliers that will play ball ALL day long. I have severe arthritis so they only get 5 min of throwing in the morning and evening. The dogs will take their balls & drop them down the steps the rest of the time. My older pup still loves her ball but no longer plays fetch. The 1st machine would be awesome in the house for all of them. I really wish they made a combo of the 2 little ones.

I like the idea but my border collie pup will find it boring. He's used to me kicking the balls fast or throwing them at 15 - 20 mph so he can run in full sprint mode to get it. Plus I know he'll either destroy the device or completely ignore it and wait till I return home so he can play fetch in a more advanced form. But like I said, I like this idea if I had a smaller and breed like a shitzu or a rat terrier type of dog class.

I’m actually thinking of getting one for one of my cats as, he’s very doglike and, even with me WFH during this pandemic, I have no time since things have become unraveled with work. So, this cat is bored, even though I walk him on a leash to meet dog friends as, people are obviously maintaining social distancing right now. By the way, someone had a great idea that you may wish to try. They use pipe or air conditioner insulation under furniture and appliances in order to keep pet toys from disappearing underneath.

Jessica, I enjoyed this video. Mine would play with it for a few days then never again. She’ll only fetch so many times then she looks at you like you threw it you go get it.

If you train the dog on how to use it, it seems it would be very effective. I have a shepherd and she would love the one that launches. The problem I see with this one is my shepherd would sit at the exit hole and just drop and catch over and over 😂

you have to teach the dog to use it , the great gatsby corgi channel shows him clicker training his dog with it. they dont instinctively know to put a ball in a machine..

One fetchy dog, one ball only, 30 minutes of you asking it to drop it into your hand held over the thing, and it would be a done deal.

I can see it being useful for those times you are hanging outside and your tired of throwing the ball. Sit it next to you and drop and launch. That way you're still interacting with the dog and saving your arm for another day:) Not sure if I could justify the price for that use case though.

No I could see other dogs that are actually ball driven or I guess “fetch” driven really getting use out of this... or at least the automatic launcher ones. It would be successfully you have a dog that’s constantly putting a ball in your hand or in you lap poking and pushing for you to throw it

If it was more dog proof, meaning it looks like a dog would destroy it pretty quick, it would be great with a trained dog 👍

Idk...it seems kind of anti-climatic. Certainly seems like you can plan on loading the balls and watching your dog grab them right out of the machine. Maybe a launcher for me and my pup

I don't understand these "toys" really. If you have no time to play with your dog, then don't take a dog. And that was not a criticism towards Jessica, it's good you bring all kinda things up when teaching a dogs.

This is a pointless video 😅 you obviously haven’t done any training to get the dogs to drop the ball back in . Plenty of instructional vids on how to do this via getting them to drop the ball into your hands above the machine first etc …

You have a very poor connection with your dogs. They act as if you're not even there. I would totally re-think how you treat them and behave around them, because you're doing something VERY wrong.
