Patience .... and die while waiting to solve every issue. Been there - done that. ugh

My three fifty just pulled straight of but I didn't take that aluminum part of but I was driving it and something happened to it cause it just stopped dead in it's track and I felt something in the clutch hit real hard and I tried pull start and and it pulled one right after it happened and didn't want to go like something holding it back and a day later I put it in neutral and pulled it home and now it won't pull start at all

If you cleaned yours thoroughly and it still will not retract, the outer case of the pulley is likely dented and needs to be straighten out. See the next video about that.

Any advise on how to access the recoil spring on that recoil assembly?

You can't access it. Not that I noticed.

Sadly my recoil spring doesnt hold tension well, now Im trying to figure out how to replace the spring, the cord was shot so I replaced that. I may have goofed and not notice it unwind a bit but even when i got it the cord would hang out about a foot

A good cleaning and lubricating should solve it. As shown in the video. Make sure the housing is not damaged or dented.

@@HorsepowerHouse sadly not yet, i just replaced the old starter on it because it was seized.... as soon as i tap the start button it starts, i also rebuilt the carb and adjusted the idle screw so it idles pretty smoothly.... now I think i have a silent chain issue or the forward gear issue 😅

@@HorsepowerHouse no doubt, the original owner maintained it pretty well, then he passed so it sat around for about 10-12 years thankfully the tank was dry and so was the carb... it looked worse on the outside than it did the inside, im seriously hoping its just the silent chain, cuz i cant find any good gears on ebay otherwise im buying brand new if anyone even has it 🤣 and the people im fixing it for dont want to put a whole lot of money into it

@@mm-nl3qz Hahha same old story. Was the same for the Trail Blazer you see in the video. I repaired it for a customer - and his "budget" was rather low. Needless to say - we went far over the "budget". But now it runs like new - and the guy is happy. :)))
