I have a 10yr green card. I got a divorce so do I need to remove my ex wife name before I travel or apply for a citizenship.

I mean I am divorce in Cuba but no divorce records there so can I do a divorce here so I can get a divorce papers?

Hello , my friend married out side US. He filled for his wife and finally after 2 years his wife got CR1 visa and came to usa .. she stayed for 10 days and then she didn't like to live in usa . And she returned to her country .. my friend divorced her outside the US . And he got the divorce certificate. He is living in California Sacramento. The question after he got the foreign divorce certificate.. what he have to do in US i mean when he have to register this divorce. Because maybe in the future will marry inside usa ..he just want to be in the safe side. For the future marriage

most countries honor another marriage/divorce certificate as long as it is legal and through said court. i divorced in another country (Dominican Republic) since where I was at the time (SC) refused to grant a divorce. I moved back to NYS since SC didn’t want to honor my divorce from the DR. i got NY to issue me a divorce cert and SC threw a fit.

Can a Filipino citizen come to the United States on a tourist visa and file for a legal divorce from their spouse in the Philippines?

No.she or she must be usa citizen first Philippine law all their citizen is not allowed to get divorce whether they out of country like usa.in order for them to get divorce he or she must be usa citizen.then only a usa citizen filipino national can file on his or her behalf for divorce.

Hello Sir,my wife is a U.S citizen.we got married in my home country as she went back with the certificate to apply for marriage spousal visa (CR1) for me,now after a year and half she wants a divorce after all docs has been submitted from us both and almost getting called for interview.how does it affect me in general and chances of getting a U.S visa in the future?if say apply for tourist visa, should I indicate especially when the devorce process is on going . please help thank you
