Workers in the theatre can too easily be exploited if they don't understand the difference between their perspective as a theatre worker vs their perspective as a theatre enthusiast - sometimes those perspectives might work in tandem, but mostly not. And in order to make our lives better collectively, we have to understand the differences between those perspectives, otherwise we risk exploiting ourselves.
