Love the idea of Neiman flipping a piece while Lauren does the camera and perhaps film editing. That would be hilarious!! I would love to see you guys do something on staging, posting pictures with descriptions, and taking pictures. Just love you both! You two are such a match and compliment each other so well in this business.

Here's a thought -- a newsletter in electronic format only, downloadable for a modest price. You have the stories, beginning, middle, end, "How I Re-did a China Hutch into a Coffee Bar," with illustrations, materials list (thank-you sponsors), and time it took, plus, "lessons learned," not necessarily mistakes but, "I realized afterward I could have ..." Or, "an alternative color scheme from (insert sponsor name) would have worked as well." Save them. Archive them. Then one day, the e-book, "How I Flipped Furniture, Started a Business and Changed My Life." Remember "The Martian," a best seller, began as a small project. Make one source of information, the furniture flipping process, work for you in a variety of formats. Finally, I've you've not taken a television production course or "How to Present Yourself in Media," do it. Learn public speaking -- no "ahs, ums," no reading. You have a great story, fashion it for each audience, business roundtable to kids in a classroom.

My friend works in remote oil field jobs and is was out of work for 5 months and to earn some cash to make ends meet, he got into buying furniture on the cheap from estate auctions and flipping them for profit! I rent a room in his house and I've helped him fill his garage FULL of quality, beautiful furniture! But he finally got called back into work and he left me with the job of selling as much as possible to get his garage space back! Once we get our garage back, I'm hoping we can get more hands on in refurbishing the furniture. :)

Thank you for the input on your journey and how you got here. I love both of your work and straight talk. it does help those of us that want to learn to do this. I have worked on lots of antiques in the past, lol, I would remove the paint and restore the pieces to original wood stain, now it seems we are back to painting furniture. guess life does go in cycles. I have about 6 pieces in my shop, I will be flipping as you call it, and lets see how this goes. also I was approached by a friend to help him unload discarded furniture that he acquires from clearing homes, we are talking how we are going to go about this...any advise?

i HAVE watched hundreds of videos because I wanted to get into flipping. I watched your linen and licorice video and knew exactly what I wanted to do in my kitchen. I wrote Beyond Paint because Linen was a little too dark. I had sent for samples. Plus I had green tile. They said to use/mix Linen and Off White with a dab of Forest Green. It is PERFECT. I have passed that picture and Beyond Paint on to at least 10 people online who were just asking advice. So me - as a rank amature - passed your video and Beyond Paint on to probably 100 or more people. I will start my kitchen next week

As a business I know you keep track of your expenses. How do you keep track of your furniture purchases from marketplace/craigslist etc, because I'm sure you aren't asking random people to write up a receipt for a $20 old dresser. Do you need receipts for the furniture you buy for taxes? Or do you just keep track?

Lauren I love this vid showing the business side! I've been watching for almost a year now. Hubbs works in IT as did I until a year ago. Was smarter for me to manage all of our rentals and flips so hubbs could step away and concentrate on his job since he's a partner of the firm. Since I am the CFO of our house and our property business, I already know it is imperative the keep detailed records of incoming/outgoing $$ for projects so at the end of the year, we can show net profit. I use Quick Books for our LLC. I was wondering do you keep a detailed profit/loss on your revenue streams quarterly or yearly? Was wondering your method. TIA!

I really enjoy your content and find your videos so informative and inspirational. When you do commission pieces, do you have the customer sign a contract to outline paint color, price, etc?

Sharing the business side of furniture flipping would be great. When you first moved into that jumbo-jet-hanger of a shop, I was wondering how the overhead impacted your cash flow. Flipping anything, furniture, antiques, thrift store finds, etc., takes some business savvy. So, anything you want to tell us would be appreciated.

Hi Guys! Love your channel and have been watching your journey and subscribed early in your venture! It has been really helpful watching you grow and expand into different areas….very exciting to see your channel grow (explode💥) and yes watching your talent, skills, tools, sponsors, subscribers just go up and up…..so we’ll deserved! I’m definitely interested in the business side of things…..I’m 60 and I love to paint furniture….go at my own pace….I used to have a booth and after 3 years it just wasn’t fun anymore….I have a great set up in my garage and have all the things….tools, paint and products and need to find the passion again….watching channels like yours help with that…..I truly appreciate the time and effort you put into your channel so thank you so much for sharing 😊kim

Can you share what books you have on the shelf behind you? Also, could you provide tips on shipping furniture that's not local?

How long has it been since you refinished your first piece of furniture? That would be helpful to know for someone thinking about doing this.

I have a garage full of furniture with the intent to flip it, I have been painting my own furniture, cabinets etc. for a few years now and really enjoy it so hoping to make an income out of making ugly pretty again. How do you get sponsored by Dixie Belle or any other company? I already use Dixie Belle products so that spoke to me when you mentioned them providing you with product in your 4 piece provincial flip. I am a retired special education teacher so when Neiman said something about starting flipping and doing it for 20 years I had to laugh because I will be too old in 20 years to be flipping furniture, but I can certainly do it now. Thank you for sharing your journey it is very inspiring!!

I’d love to see Neiman flip a piece of furniture. Have him look for the piece, go get it and then start to finish paint and sell it. I’m glad to see young people look at each other with love and respect. You both are sweet and seem like genuinely nice people. That’s very refreshing. God bless you both in your business and in your future together.
