This is a video showing direct operation without magnetic pole detection using a motorcoder, a Mitsubishi linear motor, and a servo drive.
Of course, when building a linear motor robot, the first step is to detect the poles of the magnet.
During actual use, there is no need to detect stimulation even if you turn the power off and on.
I will explain in detail from first performing magnet pole detection to driving without magnet pole detection.
In particular, it is recommended to use an absolute position linear encoder such as the Motorcoder because magnetic pole detection may be dangerous in high load and long-distance transport.

2. Maximum speed in video: 3m/s. No maximum speed limit (linear motor maximum speed)
3. Scale-less long-distance absolute position sensing
4. Mitsubishi, Panasonic, BiSS communication
5. Very resistant to dust, foreign substances, water, etc.
6. There is no scale, so there is no malfunction due to scale damage, and the assembly tolerance is large, making it advantageous for long-distance assembly.
