Is it worth it? I am probably 3 to 5 years away from FIRE if I want, but I am scared that I have been working 9 o 5 for so long that I cannot appreciate anything else in life.

Personally, I don't think of retirement as the end of working. I think of it as gaining freedom to do what you want. If the thing that makes you truly happy is working 9-5 then definitely keep doing it, but I think happiness has many factors and only one of them is money. Maybe you realize you want more flexibility. Once you are financially free, you can find a job that has time flexibility, and even if it pays less, your total happiness will go up. Other things you might value more than money are working with people you like, working on projects that are challenging or fulfilling, having a positive work culture, getting amazing free snacks. Honestly, you just have to try it though because it turns out for me, what I thought I would like is a lot different from what I actually like doing.

Nothing wrong with travelling to Europe, especially if you can boost our economy with a few dollars, highly appreciated !

Seems like a lot right?! I consider myself pretty frugal but happy to spend extravagantly on things that make me happy. Right now that's food and fitness :)
