If you're feeling lonely...

If you're feeling lonely, you're not alone. Now that a lot of us have grown up, It can feel like we've been isolated and possibly left out.
Social media is a huge catalyst for these feelings due to the constant connection with people who seem to be having fun and seemingly living their lives to the fullest without us.
I know it's hard but try to take a break from social media and try to meet some new people in real life.
I'm no expert on these things because I am also still finding my way, but I do hope this video helped you in some way.
Thank you for watching my little project, been thinking about these things for a while and I felt the need to make it onto something meaningful. It was also a good excuse to make something cinematic.

I'm still in high school and I really enjoy cinematography. I've looked around your channel and everybody seems to agree that finding your channel is such a blessing. I agree with that sentiment, and I really enjoy the cozy feeling of your videos. It was surprising to me how many things resonated with me in this video. Facing things like social anxiety, loneliness, envy, and all these other uncomfortable feelings is something that I need to learn to do more often. I don't frequently write comments on videos, but looking at your channel I wanted to let you know that I wholeheartedly support you. You've gotten a subscribe from me.

Anxiety is a gift from god. Only those people who sees the society in a need of repair feels lonely and love solitude. You might be on a path to spiritual awakening. You'll find Vipassana meditation immensely helpful.

oh my god!! i relate to so much of this it's scary but very reassuring to know that people all over the world feel somewhat the same thing. I'm 21 and from melbourne and I get what you mean about society having monetised this wonderful instagram worthy 'social life' - I go to uni but live with my parents bc really college accommodation is mad expensive! and for the first year of uni, esp due to covid, i felt awful and very lonely bc i had just broken up with someone at high school -and he was sort of my very close friend so that was sad, and a lot of my school friends were drifting away and the world felt very cold and isolating. Also in movies and stuff, they always portray the 20s to be this glamorous wonderful period where you go out every night and make so many friends and fall in love two times a week! well let me tell you - that does not happen! and it's also quite unhealthy! but bc of social media i used (still do a bit) get a lot of FOMO. but in my 2nd year i sort of started making a conscious decision to put more effort into talking to random people that i found interesting at trains or lectures, work - whatever social setting - and 90% of those times, although the conversation was nice, i didn't find like a very 'true' friend but still, I think by putting yourself out there, at least you have a 10% chance of finding someone you can really connect with! like you said it is a 'numbers' game. and now I only have a very few number of close friends (maybe less than 5) and that includes my sister haha and sometimes i worry: am a i bad friend? am i inconsistent? do i have commitment issues? but yes, i think it's good to cut ourselves a bit of slack bc this modern world is quite scary at times But yes you honestly seem quite self aware and so I'm sure you're gonna be fine :) If I have any bit of advice, it's just that, sometimes being alone is better than being lonely in someone else's company- i sort of learnt this the hard way; but yes, i am naturally extroverted and a serial people pleaser (idk why really), and I tend to prioritise other people's needs over mine esp in relationships/situationships and this makes me feel very drained and it's not very healthy. I think solitude is so underrated bc when you become comfortable with yourself, you tend not to settle for mediocre friendships or relationships that drain you - bc like whats the point? you could just go for a walk by yourself, put on some music and stare at the sky - seems much better than listening to someone rant about something or treat you like shit. And ironically when you become content with yourself, i think you find/attract people that are more like you and don't drain your energy. But yes - friendship and love - these are wonderful things but yeah you can definitely find them within as well. Anyway I'm sorry for that rant! But I hope you feel less alone- trust me, all 20 year olds probably feel very similar to you, I know that I am. We are all just figuring it out as we go, and that's okay too :) I hope you have a great month! March is my favourite bc it's autumn here!! Also your videos are amazing - I have a lot of respect for youtubers - they really can touch so many lives!

Get a summer National Park job and commit to putting out some kind of video every day. You'll experience a new space in nature, meet a gajillion people, and with as many subscribers as you have you'll realize enough income to have options for what you'll do next winter (especially if daily uploads get you enough play in the algorithms to make having a YT membership or Patreon wirth the effort). Because you will be doing something next winter and you may as well start planning now for it to be something new. Great work in your videos. Subbed.

Hey! I wanted to tell you somethin amazing: Jesus died on the cross to bear our sins, and become the ultimate Sacrifice. Jesus paid the dept we owed, and now if we believe in Jesus, and repent of our sins we can go to Heaven instead of hell. Jesus is going to come back soon, so we need to be prepared and ready for that day 🕺
