Christmas is here! But it can be a difficult time of year. The spirit of Christmas gets lost inside the commercial trappings and culture wars, leaving us all feeling empty and lost in the darkness. But it doesn't have to be that way, we can choose to reclaim the light of the holidays. We can engage with the holidays from a secular, moral, and joyful space, cutting away the plastic facade of the season in favor of a more heart-centered holiday. By focusing on the people and activities that we love and finding gratitude for all we have, we can have a beautiful holiday. The people in the recent past still celebrated the holidays, no matter how hard things were or how little they had. They chose to enjoy the season and found comfort in the simple things. So join us in watching classic movies and enjoying the warmth and light of the season!
