    This game sounds very interesting! I like the idea of adding a *little* challenge to the game. I really hope you do indeed add options to modify the difficulty, otherwise you'll alienate a big portion of potential players and your game won't exactly be "cozy" as you've marketed it.

    Thanks for the interview, Josh, Sarah, and Erik. I’m looking forward to Plum Grove, and I’m glad to hear that they are considering accessibility options as that is very important to me. Also, I really appreciate the time stamps, Josh.

    This just keeps looking better and better. I wonder if there will be things like canning and salting to make food last through the winter. I wonder how long seasons are as well. I can't wait to find out.

    So excited for this game, and the idea of a cozy game with some challenge and more realistic elements is just what I've been longing for. Love the idea of the Sims style elements, and that disease could wipe people out and completely change what you have planned. You're doing a great job, Devs, and thanks for doing the interview Josh!

    That cow plushie is looking at me 😍🥰 This game looks super cute. I love the fact that the art style is different than we usually see in these types of games. And I'm so happy that they are including the option of the player choosing how they want to play in terms of challenge/accessibility without having to really sacrifice anything they want to do with the game. Super excited for this 😀 Keep this kind of content coming, Josh! Very interesting to listen to the developers

    THANK YOU SO MUCH! Both my questions got answered. That death one was so important to me bc I do love this art style but I hate (my own) character deaths. I am excited for you to check out this beta! Is beta going to be Kickstarter exclusive or will it just be available to buy from the Steam page?

    That was a great interview, neither of you seemed nervous at all! I hope you get to do more of these, Josh, videos like this every once in a while are very refreshing. Hearing the devs say what aspects of the game they want to revisit before launch is super interesting as well, I feel like usually players don't get to hear much about that until the game is out. I'm so excited for this game, it looks fun! 🖤

    I love this game idea so much I'm going to back the KS. I've been wanting a little bit more substance from a cozy game. I will say I'm a bit disappointed in the answer related to why The Colonial era. It's an era that's been very romanticized at the expense of the horrific history that it led to. I know it's just a game and I'm not saying you couldn't use that era, I just wished that aspect wasn't glossed over and ignored.

    I don’t want games to be developed anymore for the switch at this point. I would rather developers wait and see if the new Nintendo game does in fact come out next year and then develop for that system instead. People are already non stop complaining about every indie game that comes out for switch at the moment because of the switches six year old hardware

  • @ashleymariah95

    @ashleymariah95

    Exactly. At this point, almost all new games are too big for the switch to handle.

  • @RachelXKnight666

    @@ashleymariah95 the people that wonder if a game is going to come to the switch are the same people who then complain if the game doesn’t run the way that they expect it to. And this is coming from someone who does all of their gaming on their switch lite and phone. I am realistic though and I know that the switch hardware is six years old and underpowered. My iPhone is more powerful than my switch lite is. Which is why I find it kind of funny that in this interview they say they know it will run on the switch cause it ran on mobiles lol. I compromise stable frame rate, some pop in and lower end graphics for the fact that I can play handheld but a lot of people aren’t realistic about the switches capabilities

    I feel like she really is against accessibility. She loves more difficult games and that's absolutely okay to want that. But her reaction to your question about accessibility, she definitely hesitated, and I could tell she didn't care for it. Her partner seems like he wants the accessibility but she doesn't seem to. She has a specific dream and that's great but the way she reacted to your question was off putting.

    You lost me after 1-3 seconds when she said she was angry about Stardew Valley and no reason for it followed.... sorry I love Stardew Valley, it gets me through tough times in my life, so I am sensitive about it. I know with context her criticism might make sense but I still lost every interest in listening to her after that statement. Maybe you could have used a different quote for the introduction?! Anyway love your channel!!!
