Back in 1971 I bought a "Superball" that was the bounciest ball ever. It was a lot more bouncy than what you have. I would throw it down on pavement like you did and it would go up out of sight then out of nowhere it would come back down scaring you cause you didn't know where or when it would come back. The superball's only disadvantage was after throwing it down too many times really hard is that it would break in half. Don't get me wrong, this ball was made of a rubber substance but it was very dense. I think it was made by "Wham O" and it cost around a dollar.

Check out "King of Juko", "Antonelli Baseball", "Foolish Baseball", and "Baseball doesn't exist". Those are good baseball channels for different reasons. Personally, I prefer foolish baseball.
