Love Hawaii! True about the rocks. You can see them all over under those cliffs along Na Pali....I may or may not have heeded the warning signs there.

Jerry Ackerman , man Hawai’i ruined me! I fell in love with it...now I’m just waiting for the trail to open up on the Na Pali coast!

We got married on the beach then hiked it. When we got home, I immediately booked a trip to do it again the following year. It does ruin you. Wish it would open up already!

Coming from the Haleakala summit sunrise, is this Pipiwali trail close by?

It’s still quite a drive...you could either go the traditional road to Hana or try the back road to Hana...it’s faster but a rougher drive. Probably an hour to an hour and a half away.

So all I remember is just a regular set of restrooms...you could probably use the sinks as long as you avoid leaving a mess. But even though our feet hit mildly muddy they were fine by the time we got back to the parking area.

It took me around 3 hours to get to the falls and 1hour and 45 minutes to get back to the trailhead…I was moving pretty quick though.
