Especially within US borders as a citizen. This clearly won't apply to the illegals just citizens

So we get our national ID card whether we want to or not. Sure, you don't need to present it to cross state lines, at least not yet. Why isn't the standard Washington State ID card valid according to the US government? Why are they allowed to dictate legistlation to the states?

Every time I went in to get the Real ID, they said the documents were not enough. Birth certificate and SS card was not enough. I needed my voter registration card. Or you can just use the BC and SS card. Why isn't that enough? They are asking for an annoying amount of proof when its obvious I am who I say I am. Plus I don't travel that much. Might drive to TJ, MX
