If you have Parkinson's you MUST know "GROUND ZERO!" The most important part of your body.

If you have Parkinson's, this video demonstrates why I feel this part of your body is so important. You will also learn about muscle memory and how to engrain this position into your daily practice. I named this location "Ground Zero" because I feel pursuing the ability to access, control and reference this area can substantially help with posture and fight back against the tendency to be drawn forward and down in your posture. I hope this helps!

Loved the implementation of the towel for an isometric contraction. I’m a trainer and am always looking for ways to help my clients move better. I’m using these today👍

I liked because i really liked that! I don't have PD but my father did and I find myself going into a stooped position. I started using a staff but a old broom stick works as well when I walk. It reminds and helps me to not stoop while walking and also been doing a similar exercise that you modeled for the traps and "back pocket" manuever. Thanks so much! p

How about replacing the towel with a resistance band?

Hi Mark, thanks for taking the time to comment! I don't like that idea of using resistance tubing for this drill. It can be an acceptable substitute if you don't have a towel, but I like the consistency of positioning for the hands/arms the towel provides. With tubing, you'd lose that. That being said, I use resistance tubing often and think it's a great tool for movement and strengthening.
