If You Don’t Do This, You’re Not a Real Man❗️

Ойын-сауық

Men, you were made to WORK. It's time to put your hard hat on and buckle up, because this one is sure to offend the stay-at-home dads.

Amen to this. Mine of 24 yrs abandoned his family to seek out empty affirmations on tik tok and dating apps and tried to pretend thru fake Christian apps- and jezebels in a church to say he’s found god only to remain in unrepentance - I understand it’s due to trauma- but his lack of accountability to his family and to God to remain a child disobedient to God the father and the mother he was raised by…the narcissistic abuse has been baffling. I’m finally accepting and letting go that it is who he is- his lack of action- proves he’s not willing to repent- and remain the same state of fake fantasy life. Massive PTSD-but thankfully I’m Gods daughter and have finally learned I’m loved. I pray one day God will bless me w a man I can trust. Organically. Thank you God for leading me thru this suffering and guiding me to find forgiveness.❤

We need more men preaching hard truth. The culture has tried to cut the balls off most men, but the church needs to equip men to be stronger in Christ and to live out our calling as men. Thanks pastor mark for being a voice for the biblical man.

What about mercy, and justice, and compassion? Mercy for who? The person who is working twice as hard to subsidize others' idleness and dependence? Justice for who? Justice is feeling the consequences of your choice. No work = no food. Compassion for who? The person whose money is being seized and "redistributed"?

I’m so thankful for this surface. God bless you Mark Driscoll. I did not grow up with the dad because he unfortunately passed away when I was A baby surface and sermons like you are so important to me because it helps to guide me down a path that I can make for myself that I know is Holy Spirit lead and I can also rest a sure that I am not being Lad astray. Surfaces like this also give me godly and manly advice that I have never been able to hear considering I do not have a father influence in my life.

Good teaching, i am from South Africa, and follow your sermons. Own business and working my ass off. Trying to find balance, but i think it will come over time. This was good to hear, because in a way i was feeling guilty for working hard. But i think it has maybe become a sort of an idol. I just have a comment on a wife working. If she cannot (do not want to) support you properly, then it might be wrong. Worse is if she blows her own money and yourself are still responsible for all the expenses.

Is going to work and looking busy "work"? What if you collect a big paycheck doing that? Conversly, is doing casual labor for people around church and hardly getting paid anything less work than looking busy? Im happy to work and help others all day long, but I can not for the life of my find 'official' work. I've done a number of resume classes and mock interviews. Lots of transistion training for getting out of the military, both civilian and military led. Everyone tells me I should put my best foot forward (stretch the truth and willfully omit my shortcommings) during the interview process. Not trying to sabbotage myself, but not trying to lie either. I dont think/talk fast on my feet in interviews or other new social situations so I just generally look like a poor candidate. How do poor job cadidates get work?

Mark it seems like Noah who's name means Comfort and it was prophesied that he Noah would give us comfort by his father Lamech In Genesis 5:28 & 29! And after the flood subsides, and Noah sacrifices the clean animals in Genesis 8:20-22 that God fulfilled the prophecy that Noah's father Lamech had spoken about Noah and God removes at least partially the curse from off the earth, which designates Noah as a new Adam and he's given dominion over the earth and commanded to be fruitful and multiply, and all of this is favor or graciousness on the part of God, for God says that..." for the intention of man's heart is evil from his youth."... What do you think?!
