Ya actually u have a chance to turn into any mob as, u go to a server, sorry I don't know the name of the server and go to "castle defense " there u have to protect the king if u die then the game gives u a option that what mob u want to be I pressed spider it was so fun! Sure that it doesn't work in survival mode

If you use a mod then whenever you kill a mob, then you turn into it. And you can change into any mob you killed
