I have mixed feelings on cannibalism. If its a cannibal species killing its own species for food and not just for fights, its not annoying at all for me. But any other time its annoying except maybe if the other person starts it or is in a mixpack.

@@dtbrex08 I can agree with that, but if you record and watch, 80% of people cannibalize and don't even eat ur body lol....its by far the worst on dieno, lol its kill on sight almost always, I have seen people have triple S-nutrients, 95% stomach and kill small dienos literally for nothing. Only way i think to solve that, is make cannibalism not even possible unless your stomach is 20% or lower, how a real life animal would also behave.

Yo, these were some _banger_ background jams! I really liked the more tribalistic battle track, but the fast-paced rock music was sick, too. Thank you for another great story!

Very nice video Metta, great job! I have a tip for you, the longer you charge as carno the more damage and the higher chance to knock down the opponent, this may make your fights easier for you. Good luck in the future :D

Yeah, the biggest thing is that longer charges cost significantly more stamina! It's a balancing act of stamina consumption vs damage output

@@dinomettathe thing with carno rn is it has the instant accel still, so its still op in my eyes vs thing like cerato, but it wastes sooo much stamina for its main attack and has a stupid cooldown. I honestly can see why the ddvs have problems balancing it, because all the previous iterations of carno could still kill other small but heavy creatures in a 1v1, like teno and cerato.

Metta, you can often hear your bird in the back ground, at first i thought they added more sounds to the game, but its your bird ;) Great video as always! And they need to call you Metal Metta , the track at the end was great!

Also for that raptor bit with that huge pack, is why I have been avoiding as much raptor pack sounds with grapple. My friend was giving me war stories about them even after needing two Raptors.

Grapple scares me, but it's good to know that it's not the size of the pack, but their coordination that's the real problem when it comes to surviving as long as you are careful and have backup!

@@Gamartt Carno is in an odd place right now. It's not nearly as OP as it used to be, and with slide harder to execute and charge knocking down.... Essentially nothing without using your entire stamina bar, it struggles without good company

Acro reminds me of my packmate, super uncordinated and aggressive. I'm always the one fighting tactically and smart or avoiding fights that are impossible while my pack mate rushes head first and sometimes wins against all odds lmao. its annoying most of the times but sometimes its funny and pays off.

He's generally much more coordinated than me in a fight, but if you compare our stat screens after each hunt, you can probably pretty easily tell whose is whose

Can't wait till they address the raptors pounce, between the server desync and the camera breaking every time I try to dismount it is almost unplayable.

Apparently like no one knows this from what I’ve seen but like months ago carnos charge was changed to where you could only stun/knockdown things if you were charging already for a couple seconds (no insta charge in other words), or maybe I already told you cuz I think I said it in a much older gateway video but I’m not sure, it might’ve been one of Acro’s videos. Also I’m guessing you were referring to either update 6 carno being op or carno when gateway was just released lol.

Nope, charge is essentially for stacking damage at this point. Makes it incredibly difficult to run alone.

I love playing carno but not once have I ever used it's charge to knock something down, it's literally useless to even try to do that
