It's always a nice feeling when I remember techniques I use for dice can be applied to other resin projects, since it's just resin too! I've heard this method is the "petri dish" technique where it creates little tendrils and splotches like a petri dish. Usually what I've done is put down a color, then the dropper color, then color on that, and so on and it creates bigger spores and cultures and stuff.

Hola! Siempre es un placer ver tus videos. ¿Lo que estas tratando de hacer es la técnica Petri? A mi me ha dado miedo intentarlo, pero me has dado ánimo para hacerlo, muchas gracias. En diferentes videos que he visto noté que no colocan una última capa de resina como lo hiciste en la primera letra, tal vez esa observación pueda ser de ayuda, y algunos remueven con palillos de dientes después de colocar la última gota de alcohol, la tinta metálica es hermosa pero me gustaría si intentaras una vez más sin la tinta metálica. Para ser la primera vez me gustó mucho tus resultados, sigue adelante❤

Thank you 😊 🎀 I wasn't trying for the Petri Effect, I was just playing with alcohol inks. I'm actually hoping for different outcome that's why I tried to put more clear resin after dropping all the colors

Happy to share 😊🎀 I just mixed White Liquid Pigment and 98% Isopropyl Alcohol. In the video, the mixture I used is 5 drops of white liquid pigment and 1 spray of Isopropyl alcohol. You can experiment to achieve your preferred consistency.

Do you have to use the white paint on them? I don't have any of it and I would like to know if you need to use it on the alcohol ink? I'm just a beginner just starting to work with resin. I have the micro paint down I think. Now I need to know about the alcohol ink part. Please advise. Thank you.

Using white really gives a cool effect so I suggest that you use it. In this video, I also don't have available white alcohol ink I just made my own using white liquid pigment and 98% Isopropyl Alcohol
