If We Continue to Export Raw Materials we are Doomed to a Rich Africa with Poor Africans.

Well known Ghanaian media entrepreneur Anita Erskine recently caught up H.E. Minister Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, South Africa's Minister in the Presidency for Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities at the sidelines of the 30th Anniversary of the Afreximbank Annual Meetings in Accra, Ghana.
Minister Dlamini Zuma was very clear on her message "if we continue to export raw materials without processing them then we are doomed to be a rich Africa with poor Africans. If you export raw materials you are also exporting jobs and revenue"
The Minister further spoke to the fact that Africa's people are her most precious resource and that investment into education, skills and health as well as access to finance are essential to enable Africa's youth to drive the Continent's economic growth.
