If War Thunder's MBT-70 was historically accurate

Ойындар

The MBT-70 / KPZ-70 program was a joint venture between the United States and Germany to create a universal main battle tank for NATO. Due to differences in doctrine and design philosophy, the two teams butted heads frequently. The US and German versions began to have less part commonality with components such as the autoloading system and engine. The venture eventually dissolved with Germany beginning work on the Leopard 2 while the US tried to salvage their end of the program with the XM803, a version of the MBT-70 designed to reduce cost. Eventually the US dropped the XM803 to start development of what would become the M1 Abrams.

"tends to break down" is one of the vaguest descriptions possible. fuckin panther final drive and grandpa's wood splitting axe both tend to break down on a long enough time scale

If Gaijin had this level of attention to detail instead of throwing as many half-assed vehicles as they can into the game while constantly throwing off the matchmaking balance, I would still be playing.

I think in most American post war tanks the commander was able to operate the gun controls from his station. Making it unnecessary to replace him when wounded in game.
