    OP forgot to add - if you notice that the area where you got bit by mosquito is swelling, and your throat is feeling sore and you have difficulty breathing and swallowing, seek the doctor ASAP because that reaction to mosquitoes is not normal and it can delete you. I got bit by few of these mfs yesterday, my right leg calf was red and my throat was closing down. I am still alive because I had Xyzal pills next to me.

    It's that quick? We have something called an insect bite when a person fall ill suddenly and rapidly and ultimately died. Doctors cant quite figure it out what caused it. And they called it bug bite or insect bite. Could it be a sepsis shock?

  • @RebelWvlf

    @RebelWvlf

    @@shadowgojiro mine wasn't sepsis but allergic reaction. The bite area initially starts as little welt, but it gradually swells, itches way more than it should, and the throat gradually closes down. The reaction can develop in matter of days. All in all, seek the medic if you notice that, just don't wait for it to develop.

    You basically have an entire other set of veins which is the Lymphatic system. Lymph (A fatty Blood Plasma that gets tapped off your circulatory system) gets the majority of white blood cells where they need to go to target the site of an infection. If You see a red line like that, the infection has entered your lymphatic system which will end up at your heart and then entre the blood and be pumped around your entire body.

    Also can happen with a bad cat bite or scratch. I had to go to the walk in clinic two nights in a row, first night was 25,000mg of augmentin, the next night they layered a second antibiotic over it and said if the streaking continues I need to go to the ER because IV antibiotics would be needed. Cat bites are no joke.

    I had a similar thing happen to me. One monday morning I woke up with a red and swollen knuckle on my left hand that had been completely fine the night before. I go to the doctor because that’s not normal. Got some meds, not antibiotics btw. Went to work. That worked for like a day. It grew again the next day. Keeps swelling and swelling until the skin was stretched tight and shiny. Wednesday I went to the doc again and got antibiotics. Thursday it still hurt and I couldn’t work anymore because I couldn’t bend my now swollen hand. That night I saw my wrist and arm had swollen and red lines going up my arm. Looking back I should’ve gone to the emergency clinic immediately, but for some crazy reason I thought I’d go the next day. So Friday morning I go to the emergency clinic, they saw my swollen arm and red lines and they did surgery. Took me a week or so to recover. Much later on, I asked one of the doctors what happened and was it sepsis. It was a “kind of”. Instead of my blood, it was in my lymph nodes. 😱 It was literally less than a week to get it this bad. Monday morning I noticed it, Friday I had to have surgery done. The call to my boss telling him I just had basically emergency surgery done was interesting to say the least.

    I just tank the mosquitos because my immune system is insane. I read that the reason why is because I have type O negative blood and this apparently means that my blood views other blood types as hostile and eliminates them but is also very aggressive with its use and production of antibodies, so my white blood cells are John Wick and my bloodstream is a puppy - a good diet and constant cardiological exercise also seem to have bolstered my immune system, especially within my childhood. I once was bitten by a brown recluse as a 14 year old and I thought it was just a staph infection so I just treated it with extra strength polysporin and cleansed it regularly, then I learned I could have lost my leg due to necrotizing fasciitis - even more impressive, my body fought off that venom unassisted by any means. I don't know what the body is truly capable of, but mine has surprised me.

    I don’t know about nowadays, but my mom taught us kids that in the 70’s. Probably because we lived in the middle of nowhere sw Florida, and we are all gen x so we could always find something we should have gotten into. 😂 and she was constantly having to clean wounds and bug bites. 😂

    I was bitten by my pet cat. I had this on my arm 12 inches higher than the bite. I was already on 2 antibiotics. It took weeks to go away.
