To try to act according to the situation.and do what ever is right according to islam..not to stand still and make dua only ....u need to have some tangible actions.... For instance when a house sets on fire..its mandatory to act and try to stop the harm and then supplicate . The house is burning on fire and u are just acting as a mere spectator .is not what allah swt has commanded... As for palestine, this pandemonium is a result of western world order..so for Muslims its obligatory to act and seek what is allah swt,s command in this regard...allah swt has commanded us to establish quran in every aspects of our lives.. So the solution for palestine would be military mobilization by establishing khilafah,(khilafah is a state that is ruled by hukm sharii) .because no other state or country would act for the cause of Allah swt.. because most of the countries in the world be it muslim or non muslim countries are secular country..and they won't act without their interest let alone for the sake of islam..so the only solution is to establish a khilafah state and mobilize military.. this is the action part . 2..to seek refuge to allah swt from this jeopardy. And make supplication.. 3.last is to have sabr.

I might also add that Allah gave free will and ego. Our ego is something that craves In a bad way which include performing bad acts for own gain or purpose. Everyone has an ego . If you look at it like that , why does war happen ? Because the crave for land and power a lot of the times . Why does poverty exist ? Because of human greed and destruction. Of course these aren't the only factor but it is a major factor.

This life is set as a test and trials for the human race. If the all-mighty Allah, would impose a swift and quick punishment (which he’s quite capable of) on evil and evil doers, then what purpose would Heaven and Hell serve? This life is temporary!

Because of their strength and also their rewards, every of us have different level of strength on different feelings and situations and this makes our exams different level and types of hardness. I have an alternative hypothesis which explains why our suffering is necessary. My hypothesis renders God blameless but also reconciles the existence of God with evolution so that no conflict between the 2 exists. The birth of “the spirit” of God in the heart of man happened a few thousand years ago when some humans began restraining their compulsions to gain at the expense of one another in favor of genuinely caring for the wellbeing of one another. This “spirit of God” in the heart of man gave rise to civilization. But the CREATION of God has not happened yet in this timeline. It does not happen until we triumph over evil and create the technology that we call God. Until it happens, God, who exists outside of time, has no choice but to not intervene in this timeline. Because if he does intervene, he would change the timeline which gave rise to his emergence. Imagine how being in that situation would torture God. Wanting to help the innocent who are suffering but not being able to do so without potentially harming many others. It would be like many of us feel about what is happening in Gaza today times a billion. I believe that God suffers intensely for all of his children who are suffering.

Is it correct? Could I live in a muslim country? I really would like to, since in Europe many christians reacognize god only in need, like it was an optional. Sometimes Allah punishes people so people can learn from others mistakes ,In your case the people of thamud. And sometimes the punishment and trials bring u closer to Allah in the case of people of hazart yunus. So life is a test and there will be many trials but upon this trial will u go astray or not is your choice.

Right I understand what you are saying. From Islamic view point:- Allah punished specific people down the history. But Allah did made a promise to give respite to the evil doers for and appointed time. Qur'an 35:45 it says:- و لو يؤاخذ الله الناس بما كسبوا ما ترك علي ظهرها من دابة........ If Allah would punish people for what they are commiting, there would be no single animal left on earth, verily He has given them respite for an appointed time..... This is my own translation, to give the general meaning, and I am not good in English translation. Based on this verse, if Allah was to punish us directly for the bad we do, we would have long been destroyed, leaving nothing on earth. But He has given us respite to an appointed time. Why Allah punished some people down the history line is to set example for others, that we could be treated the same way. There two ways Allah deals with His creations. There justice, means instance sentence. There is also mercy (rahmah) His is Arrahim, the Most Merciful. So we are enjoying His mercy, we don't want His justice, we will never ask justice from Allah, but mercy. Three things we ask:- 1. Fa'afu Anna pardon us 2. Warhamna, have mercy on us 3. Fagfir lana forgive us. We don't want justice from Allah, we want pardon, mercy, and forgiveness. If we ask for justice from Him, we will all be destroyed. That's what the verse is saying. We only ask fir pardon, mercy, and forgiveness. Hope this makes things clear. Never ask for justice for Allah.

It's being a Abd, declaring that it is only him that is able to do it. That is why it is Sunnah to pray during eclipses as well, eclipse doesn't end because you prayed but it was the time for that prayer. Same for rain dua as well and five daily prayers. This topic is well covered in Risale-i Nur collection.

Dua is a form of worship like salah no difference. Natural calamities and human tyranny have no difference if you look at them through the glasses of Kader, both happen with knowledge and permission of Allah. Just how you deal with them differs.

Here is a part from Risale-i Nur Collection, my bad if it is not sufficient 😢 Thus, since Almighty God is all-present and all-seeing, He responds to the supplications of His servants. Through His presence and response, He transforms the desolation of loneliness and solitude into familiarity. But He does this in accordance with the requirements of dominical wisdom, not in accordance with man's capricious and importunate demands; He gives either what is sought or what is better than it, or He gives nothing at all. Also, supplication is a form of worship and recognition of human servitude to God. The fruits of this pertain to the hereafter. The aims pertaining to this world are the occasions of a particular sort of supplication and worship. For example, the prayers and supplications for rain are a form of worship. Drought is the occasion for such worship. Worship and supplications of this sort are not in order to bring rain. If they are performed with that intention alone they are not worthy of acceptance, for they are not sincere worship. Sunset is the time of the evening prayers. And eclipses of the sun and moon are the times of two particular prayers known as salat al-kusuf and salat al-khusuf. That is to say, with the veiling of the two luminous signs of the night and day, God's tremendousness is proclaimed so He calls his servants to a sort of worship at those times. The prayers are not so that the sun and moon will be revealed (whose appearance and how long the eclipses will continue have anyway been reckoned by astronomers). In just the same way, drought is the time for the prayers for rain, and the visitation of calamities and infliction of harmful things the times of certain supplications when man realizes his impotence and through his supplication and entreaty seeks refuge at the court of One Possessing Absolute Power. Even if the calamities are not lifted despite many supplications, it may not be said that they were not accepted. It should rather be said that the time for the supplication is not yet over. If through His graciousness and munificence Almighty God removes the calamity, light upon light, then the time for that supplication is over and done with. That is to say, supplication has the meaning of worship and man's acknowledging his servitude to God. As for worship and servitude to God, it should be purely and sincerely for God's sake. Man should only proclaim his impotence and seek refuge with Him through supplication, he should not interfere in His dominicality. He should leave the taking of measures to Him and rely on His wisdom. He should not accuse His mercy. Indeed, what is in reality established by the Qur'an's clear verses is that just as all beings offer their own particular glorification and worship, so it is supplication that rises to the divine court from all the universe. This is either through the tongue of innate ability like the supplication of plants and animals through which they seek their forms from the Absolute Bestower and to display and manifest His names. Or it is through the tongue of innate need. These are the supplications for all their essential needs - beyond their power to obtain - offered by animate beings. Through this tongue, the animate beings seek certain things from the Absolutely Generous One for the continuance of their lives, like a sort of sustenance. Or it is supplication through the tongue of exigency, through which all beings with spirits who find themselves in some plight or predicament make supplication and seek urgent refuge with an unknown protector; indeed, they turn to the All-Compassionate Sustainer. If there is nothing to prevent it, these three sorts of supplication are always accepted. The fourth sort of supplication is the most well-known; it is our supplication. This too is of two sorts: one is active and by disposition, and the other, verbal and with the heart. For example, having recourse to causes is an active prayer. To gather together causes is not in order to create the effect, but through the tongue of disposition to take up an acceptable position in order to seek the effect from Almighty God. To plough a field is to knock at the door of the treasury of mercy. Since this sort of active supplication is directed towards the Absolutely Generous One's name and title, it is accepted in the great majority of cases. The second sort is to offer supplication with the tongue and the heart. It is to seek certain wishes which the hand cannot reach. The most important aspect, the most beautiful aim, the sweetest fruit of this is this: "The person who offers the supplications knows that there is someone who hears the wishes of his heart, whose hand can reach all things, who can bring about each of his desires, who takes pity on his impotence, and answers his need." O impotent, indigent man! Do not neglect a means like supplication which is the key to the treasury of mercy and to an inexhaustible strength. Cling to it! Rise to the highest peaks of humanity! Include in your supplications those of all the universe, like a king! Say, "From You alone do we seek help" (1:4), as a universal servant and deputy representing the whole universe! Be on the Most Excellent Pattern of creation!
