Yeah they were the real reason ninja was feared and they didn't have diffrent colors too pretty sure the cloth they had around ther head was a red orange color since its common for ninja to wear the same outfit and everything to confuse the enemy gratly especially when trying to figure out how many there are plus the only way youl know the difference is when they call out there names.

I love how even if their weapons and colours weren't shown we'd still be able to tell exactly who is who based on size/facial expression/etc.! Such a well done adaptation!

SPOILERS: I always thought it would be interesting if the creators of 2012 tmnt had been given an adult audience instead of kids, they mentioned in an interview that they had a really hard time keeping the story light enough, and had to re work a lot of scenes and add more comedic breaks. Even then, there are some very, very dark moments in the show that I was not expecting at all. Example: in Avatar, they were not allowed to say "Kill" etc, whereas in 2012, Karai and shredder would yell that they were going to kill someone. The mutations were really graphic at times, especially when Karai tried to stab super shredder in the heart etc. Then there was the fact that they straight up showed splinter getting impaled by shredder, and kicked off a roof. No cut aways to shadows, no implying, etc. the only thing they didn't have was blood. Leo then b e h e a d s the shredder, and carries it back to his brothers as proof of Shredder's death. Like, damn ok.

The original comics had dark humor and context, to the point that it was only sold as adult comics (or 18+). Like most comics it got PG'ed and was adapted into the fun cartoon shows we commonly know for kids, but it certainly was never meant for them. Fun Fact: The TMNT Comics began because one of the original artists randomly drew an anthropomorphic turtle holding a weapon (it was either nunchuks or a sword) and they grew on the idea.

The only problem with an animated show this detailed is that assuming the show is animated at 24 frames per second, a single second of animation would require at the very least, 144 hours of work.

Oh God, I used to be obsessed with TMNT. Give or take, I still am now, and I'm much older. Most people would say this would ruin their childhoods, but I say that it's AWESOME.

Seeing the 2018 Turtles drawn as scary mutants would be a gem, like they got mystic powers and everything

Every smiles when we see a turtle Edit; imagine a gothic dojo and you had to wear black and getting a black belt and you had to do everything in the darkness

They used other turtles's shell as armor, BRILLIANT IDEA

I had been waiting for this and I am not disappointed! This is amazing! Also: Mikey: Spider Monkey (He's small and can move fast, and he's extremely flexible) Leo: Majestic in every way (Look at him. LOOK AT HIM-) Raph: Beast (He's HUGE) Donny: I can't decide between adorable, or menacing.

@@inks-project-archive Yea same. I actually hated the 2012 version (For some reason idk, maybe my younger self thought they were ugly?) And I would never see myself binge watching the episodes to the 2018 reboot but, *Here I am-*

As someone who has been a fan of TMNT since I was 5. This is such an amazing piece of art work.

Having Raphael wearing badass samurai armor made of turtle shells is an awesome idea, especially since he’s the brute and tank of the team.
