Howard is the best. I am SO glad you didn't leave those descending arpeggios at the end! Made me grin instantly when I heard them. I gotta go to bed but this will be practiced as soon as I get home from work tomorrow..Night everyone.

Classic George interpretation of a Dylan tune…he “George’s” it up and it always turns out great…nice job…have you heard the “Early Takes” George cd with all the demo acoustic tracks…a good one to study and learn from…and play along with.

Yeah... His demos are really cool to check out. Sometimes I find I like them better than the "Wall of Sound" treatment Spector gave them.

Nice alternative voicings...FYI It is not co written. It is a Dylan composition, George did not co write. He covered it but in keeping with the God theme of All Things Must Pass record George sings it as a devotional song( ( if not for you , being a God or Spirit consciousness. Dylans perspective is- If Not For You- a woman or a lover, ( probably Sara his wife) An interesting change in perspective without changing a word. Rumi often has the same variable. Drunk on alcohol or a lover or altered by God consciousness.
