This was the absolute BEST tutorial on how to do this. I've never gotten it to work for me but you've explained all the probable reasons why.

I love how you’re using Holo Taco polishes for this and Cristine hates watermarbling😭😭

I've also seen this design with stamp. You don't need to put your finger into water, just use stamp to get nail polish from the surface of water and put it on your nail😊

thank you Aistė - it does get messy but the Vaseline (or liquid latex if you’re not allergic) is a great barrier and makes cleanup much easier

I don't like water marbling but I've been putting a couple drops of different nail polishes on my nail and swirling them with a mechanical pencil lead or a thumb tack! Similar look, smaller swirls but quicker

@@SM-mc3ll I don't find it too bad tbh, longer than normal but once the top is set you can top coat which dries faster and the rest finishes curing underneath, just have to be a bit more careful with them

😅 honestly it was the best brown palette I had, especially with the Espresso Your Holo. I had a brown from cirque colors but it was a jelly and I didn’t think that would work well lol

that sparkly one adds more cuteness to this idea 💗

Ive been water marbling recently, i dont take all the extra polish away! Ive been able to get basically all five nails off of one round of polish! Just have to be careful maneuvering your fingers out, or just dunk a couple fingers at a time 🤣 its a bit more random this way as far as the desing turn out, but its so fast and easy this way, ive been loving it! Reallt saves on polish too. Also been doing lots of negative space without a base color!
