If Metallica was Death Metal - And Justice For All (FULL ALBUM)

Музыка

Here's the whole ...And Justice For All album but as if Metallica was a death metal band!
This is my longest project so far and I'm so happy it's finally done and available to y'all!
The core of all the songs remained mostly the same as the originals, with subtle changes, but a lot of rhythm parts were re-worked. I wasn't focusing much on the solos. Only 'Blackened' and 'One' have one. My aim was to get the aggressive and heavy rhythm followed up by meaty bass, rich drums and occasional melodies.

One of the marks of great music is how well it lends itself to reinterpretation and reinvention in other styles. AJFA has not only stood the test of time as a pillar of progressive thrash, Denis has now shown us that there was a dark and extraordinary death metal album hidden in its depths. Mr. Pauna, Thank you for what I can only imagine was a labor of love on your part. The nods to Cliff with the denim vest and unexpected bass interludes were a great touch. Please keep doing what you’re doing, your hard work is genuinely appreciated. 🤘🤘

The effort you put into your videos is huge, every instrument part, mixed well for the genre, record the process, edit the video... but you do a full over hour long album. I'm 50 and first heard Metallica in 1987, but also started into the death metal scene around 1990 and can also easily hear the Obituary, Bolt Thrower and Morbid Angel influences! This seems to be the cover/remake album I needed to blend the two together! This is one monumental piece of work being you didn't just copy in a different style, but reimagined the songs and the result is sheer heavy fucking madness \m/ (- -) \m/

How you captured the sound of the DM movement of that era and created this masterpiece is incredible. I can hear so many influences in these songs. Intentional or not. Entombed, Bolt thrower, Obituary, Immolation, Pestilence... you get the idea. Cheers to you man. And thank you for all the effort you put into everything you do. Now as an old man I can enjoy the oldies but goodies from time to time but I so much prefer this version of AJFA to the original. Absolutely incredible! Loved Blackened, wasn't expecting a full album death metal style so soon! You turned this album into a death metal album so perfectly, and just hits so much harder than any other version of the album, even Justice for Jason (as if that wasn't already way better than the original!). Not only is the bass upfront and personal as it should be, but even the songs on Metallica's that I've never really been a big fan of are turned into whole new songs that I love. To the point where one of them, the title track, is my favorite on your version! Love the bends and slides you added to it, gives it such a gargantuan sound (kind of reminds me of some of Far Beyond Driven). General sound it reminds me of what I love about death metal, it's got that stomp and groovy chug of Obituary, Bolt Thrower, and classic Sepultura. Love the melodic touches (like in Shortest Straw) you added too, creates an awesome contrast. Fantastic job!
